19/1/2012 12:07 | It doesn't look like the MMs are that keen on selling stock at this time with a spread of 14% or 60p to 70p. Hopefully they fine a source of stock to bring the spread to a more sensible. Still mustn't complain with such a good rise, but I would like to top up at some point. ic2... | interceptor2
19/1/2012 11:05 | Just for you cfro :-)) and this may be of interest to the thread Regards GHF | glasshalfull
19/1/2012 09:49 | Please enlighten me then GHF, before i dig an even deeper hole! :-).....A link to the post maybe? | cfro
19/1/2012 09:46 | Yes, I read that on TMF and LOL. The TMF'ers love Roy's chatter. The perfect disguise for all those ramps :o) Time we had one about SAL I think ... | deswalker
19/1/2012 09:19 | cfro - You do Roy a significant disservice. Worthwhile looking through some previous holdings before you dig a further hole ;-) You'll be pleased to know that your post from another thread is now legendary and made its way over to "The Mötley Fool". Regards GHF | glasshalfull
19/1/2012 09:12 | Oh so that 'Roy' has got one right then! ;-) IC2, yes i did see the GBO TS and your trade too. I've never liked the co as i see too much risk there. You have to ask yourself.....why the selling on a such a strong statement? If i do decided to buy then it will only be a small holding. I did check my emails and nothing there. I can se why you got my name muddled with a French man tho! :0)) | cfro
19/1/2012 09:09 | Good to see you Des. Approach to Roy (obviously) indicates minimal stock about and I now see a further tick up on bid and offer. I happen to think c.80p the fair value at present - last years 6.72p diluted EPS x 12 - prior to a t/s or results which hopefully demonstrate continued growth, say 20%, strengthened cash position & confirmation of 5%+ dividend yield. I would then see fair value at c.100p All IMHO of course. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
19/1/2012 08:54 | I was also buying at 52p. Yet another Roy stock ... | deswalker
19/1/2012 08:46 | ...I take it you responded with a chuckle ;-) Regards GHF | glasshalfull
19/1/2012 08:43 | Just had phone call from broker asking if I would sell 10k at 57p | 25october1969
19/1/2012 08:25 | ic2 - I believe the stock available at 51p/52p was such an opportunity as you describe in your last post. Certainly little stock to be had now...hence considerable rise this morning ;-) Regards GHF | glasshalfull
18/1/2012 19:21 | GHF, Looks like any buying would really push these much higher. Maybe we need a forced seller to appear for just one day to give a good opportunity to buy in. I have noticed many stocks affected by this in the last week, with TCN and SAG which I hold both effected and also ILX yesterday which is on the watchlist. And all have bounced back after just one day, the problem for me is that I can't buy them all. DSN and GAH have also been effected, which I did take advantage off. ic2.. | interceptor2
18/1/2012 19:14 | Looks like we might've all been inadvertently competing with each other for stock here. I followed the 52p buys with 3000 @ 54p. Im going to hold off trying to add for a while and pursue some other opportunities that I've been following. Will wait to see what the results bring in a few months. | davydoo
18/1/2012 18:56 | ic2 - The 52p stock dried up a week ago but trust me when I say that my broker has been unable to deal at the bid price for even a small amount of stock over the last couple of days...I was even knocked back for 2,500 @ 56p yesterday which was 1p over the offer never mind some of my other requests for 15/20k where I was quoted prices in the 60's. Fortunately I managed quite a few at 51p/52p last week but even at the current price they appear significantly undervalued. However I'm not prepared to chase any further until release of results or a trading statement. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
18/1/2012 18:13 | I got mine for 52p as well. My jaw dropped this afternoon when i saw the price lift quite a bit on a tiny 500 share trade. Nice to see this up and moving anyway. Would dearly like to buy more but i dont know if im going to get half a chance. | cfro
18/1/2012 18:05 | Very often it is possible to buy well inside the spread, TDW have a system called Fill or Kill where they must contact the mm with your specified price. It doesn't always work, but most times it works very well. It worked for me with SAL @ 52p last week. ic2... | interceptor2
18/1/2012 17:23 | Rise as predicted. Always annoys me when the bid/offer quoted fail to reflect the true market and therefore it's no wonder that many investors simply give such companies a wide berth with such shennanigans. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
18/1/2012 11:22 | Just a drop on the bid price which has now been increased to 50p envirovision....perh I don't believe there is much stock available at the current offer of 55p, the tap has effectively been turned off. I've been quoted prices way above this for a trivial amount of stock FWIW. Looks like a duopoly with both SpaceandPeople and competitor Brandspace effectively controlling the market. Brandspace is the UK's leading destination media specialist, managing the media rights for over 3,000 destinations. These include shopping centres, iconic London destinations, international airports, train stations, sports and leisure venues and the most popular fashion retailers. Through our three integrated divisions - Brandspace Experiential, Brandspace Poster Media and Brandspace Retail - we are dedicated to connecting brands, consumers and destinations. We provide brands and retailers with the opportunity to engage and interact one-to-one with receptive consumers through a range of media channels that cannot be turned off or tuned out. ....who are privately owned by Promotion Space Group. At a cursory glance they look like an excellent fit and I wonder if either company have ever entertained the idea of merging? Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
16/1/2012 13:13 | down on nothing i see. Recent buying here has made zip, wonder what goes. A big sell order ? | envirovision
13/1/2012 18:21 | Welcome davydoo. As i only own 3000 shares like you and IC2, i will be looking to add to my holding at some point. | cfro
13/1/2012 13:51 | What a premium to pay. Looking at the subsequent trades, i think someone needs to find themselves a new broker. | davydoo
13/1/2012 10:55 | Hi topvest. I agree with you, think the CEO and management team are first class. Noticed that a 11k buy has just went through at 58.54p when bid & offer are still 49v55 !!! Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
12/1/2012 19:29 | I've still got a few of these from the Welsh Industrial Investment Trust liquidation. I'm tempted to add, but want to see a full year of audited accounts post acquisition first. Last year was a double season, acquisition year. Think the CEO is good here, but was a little worried funding wise following the last acquisition. The debt facility must have been renewed I suspect, albeit it would have been nice to be informed. Anyway, will await the final results and reassess then. Rather be cautious in the current environment. | topvest |
