Justified on basis of overseas expansion plans which could easily see turnover double- announcement is due soon according to the company

Highlights:

Billings up 23% to #5,251,000 (#4,261,000)
Turnover up by 5% to #954,329 (#905,606)
Pre tax profits up 70% to #241,643 (#142,228)
European expansion plans progressing well

Hello - new to this board. Bought SAL back in December 04 and have been delighted with the way it seems to be going - but this thread here is the first I've ever seen about the company - I'd begun to think I'd imagined it. There's hardly ever any news about it but it seems to chug along quite happily. But any idea why it's climbed up today?

Thanks 25/10; that's a very good read, as the Fool has spoken to the CEO directly, after the results.

A more public airing of that article would entice hoards of small buyers.

Interesting - that was a BUY - just recorded - at 85p first thing.

Therefore, I think the MMs are trying to shake out any nervous holders - short of stock maybe???

Well, nothing showing yet - it'll appear later because the size of the trade will be above NMS - 500 IN THIS CASE!

Anyway, I'm convinced it'll get picked up soon by ome of the tipsters.

Phil > No, I've not sold and you are right BUT at the moment the problem seems to be that SAL are not on enough people's radar.

I can't recall seeing a company release finals recording that profits are up by 48% and no trades after the first 30 mins of the LSE opening. At the very worsted there would be some profit taking after yesterday's spike up; but nothing !
