wols-i have my reasons,which i cant announce on this board,for reasons you probably are aware of-yes i changed my mind-i gave it so much time,but things are just not panning out as i thought they would-i CANT say anything more-i have been upfront all along and i have now sold at a devastating loss as for many others-im sorry i did not tell you as i was doing so,but i think you always announced your sales after the event too-all the best
fwiw -i have had no information from anyone that leads me to believe there is any kind of problem,just lack of it as far as i am concerned-all the best and as ive said before it may all work out fine,but i now no longer wish to be on the recieving side if it does not-out much too late,but we all learn our lessons-all the best

I haven't sold any, but remain alarmed of course by the lack of any anouncement, and the daily outflow of cash.

Andy-doesnt matter that it is a few years away,if they can secure it,even at longer term copper prices as low as $1.60,it will be an amazing and very profitable project-the drilling we know about so far has confirmed good grades for open pit with low costs-this is what counts-high reward and very profitable even on very low worst case scenario long term copper prices-with that buisness licence scr will be re rated very quickly

Thanks dave-andy-of course they will have to raise finance-tell me of any explorer that doesnt if they want to go into production-the point is,and the point i was responding to when kimboy mentioned about would it be worth it,raising the cash for zhunuo,is that there is absolutely no doubt that if the project is as big as they say it could be,and even of the currently drilled area,which is 1/5 th the size of what it could be,the economics are stunning,even at low long term copper prices-if it ever came off,it will with no doubt be a company maker for scr-lets hope it does,because those that are still in,yes will be diluted,but the longer term gains from zhunuo,will make any dilution pale into insignificance

How dare I what? Accuse you of saying one thing and doing another? Say that you have been one of the longer term posters on this board trying to keep a positive tone and then selling out without telling any one? Telling others like me who announce their sales that you wish the weak holders would sell out so the share price could rise?

Or just changnig your mind after two quite positive posts? If its the latter then so be it.

Valentine-how reliable was your source on that one?and thats another reason why im still interested and invested myself,because i dont think this one will be short of action-this team do not just sit around contemplating their navels-they are doers and in my view will find the opportunities,even if it takes a little time

Has China now got 'a heart' regarding Tibet? ( or/atleast its worried about its fresh water supplies emnating from the Tibet plateaus)


Could not SCR list on the Australian Mkt, raising funds, and maybe encouraging further 'speculative investors' in, possibly raising the share price But SCR, would i believe, need to come up with some 'morsel' of good news to couple this listing.
Long, long awaiting news up-dating us on Xi'an & Zhunuo developments.

I do still feel that some positive news may appear hear however, or else i believe those personnel who came onboard last year and early this year, would have 'jumped ship' by now also.

Sorry o/t, MTA, Matra Ptr looks like it will finally take off next week( gaining interest on positive news this month, and to come)

I know it's early days, but is there any calculation yet of what capex may required to turm Zhunno into a producing mine?

I assume funding would be a mix of debt/equity, and at this low price there is a risk of serious dilution surely?

Well I don't know how near you think the Zhunno project is to producing copper, but I reckon it's years away at best, and therefore, the current proce of copper is of no consequence IMO.

But, as you suggest, they may well do the latter!

Copper prices at all time high of over $3.68/lb,you would think the share price wouild be going up not down.Are we likely to hear news on development of Zhunuo in the near future? Could we hear of different projects from the Xian agreement or are SCR directors happy to sit on the cash and say nothing while the price drifts ever lower?It seems the later.

SCR had £3.3m cash in March interims and has spent £5.7m on exploration (although cash spent on Danfeng) and we wait for news on the exploitation of Zhunuo.The market cap is only £4m now so I find it surprising folk are still willing to sell at 2.25p as SCR nearly have that in cash.
