22/6/2007 08:14 | strow - thought you had filtered me. I am not revelling in SCR's demise. I bear the scars from my investments, as you well know. I am just waiting for an announcement vis a vis financing. I am not interested in the shares as they are now. | idioterna
22/6/2007 08:08 | idio-why still looking?suprised you can be bothered ,unless you are just revelling in its demise from a safe position?or perhaps just trying to provoke still | strow
22/6/2007 08:03 | You have someone who is picking up the shares that pi's are selling. Not somebody who is aggresively building a stake. It could very simply be the nomad doing the job of maintaining a market for the share, otherwise the bid would be sub 1p by now. | idioterna
22/6/2007 08:02 | choppa-always was penny share and speculative, just more so now-i think we probably recognise it for what it is and are playing accordingly-thanks | strow
22/6/2007 08:01 | Wow,250k buy straight in.....could be a good day | figure6
22/6/2007 07:59 | We have a big accumulator so the share price will go up,atleast in the short term.......straw anyone :))) | figure6
21/6/2007 21:54 | Clutch straws guys I feel. I had such high hopes too last year for this one but it aint gonna happen. Penny share nothing more. Shame. Very speculative. | choppa
21/6/2007 21:34 | f6-no idea about joint venture possibilities-all that i know is that they are continuing to look very hard at all sorts of projects, zhunuo still ticking over in the background i believe-they are not prepared to accept rubbish,so one can rest assured that when they come up with something new,it is likely to be good-they also are not prepared to pay over the odds for any project,so will be doing some hard bargaining im sure-im assured that management will not rest until something new worth having is secured-one has to be very patient i think, but my feeling is when it comes it will be worth waiting for | strow
21/6/2007 15:43 | Probably a rollover with the 0.02p difference in price being the mms cut.It looks like we do have an accumulator and now someone who is ready to rollover a decent order while waiting for ????.....we have a mystery....lets hope its news of a joint venture thats leaked.ps mms want 3.16p now for their shares so I get the feeling that it wont take much to push the share price higher....its a bit late in the trading session to move more today though probably | figure6
21/6/2007 11:32 | Was it a rollover possibly, dont currently have enough info to know-maybe delayed report from 19 th?? | strow
21/6/2007 11:18 | Are the 2 X 250k sells or buys? Theyre down as L trades I suspect looking at the 1st trade theyre buys...so who's stakebuilding then? gep | gepetto100
21/6/2007 11:12 | Well someone has been putting a lot of money in here, too much in my view for a pure gamble, unless its rab trading in and out | strow
21/6/2007 10:19 | Strow they can't do that without prior authorisation at the AGM (or EGM). | genius85uk
21/6/2007 10:10 | Buyer still in-big mystery-could the co possibly be buying up their own stock??surely if they were this would have to be announced | strow
21/6/2007 10:09 | Nice 200k buy and up goes the offer price.SCR is tightly held and it wont take much buying to get the share price moving northwards again.(Do we still have our mystery accumulator?....time will tell....good luck holders....maybe theres some good news in the pipeline....JV possibly....we can hope) | figure6
21/6/2007 09:33 | Cheers, certainly the country's had its upheavels and unrest in the past. I thought that may be why its not picking up much interest. And there's masses of explorers to choice from ofcourse, and ever increasing. Although, cashflow is what really attracts | davethechef
21/6/2007 09:09 | DTC - I actually flew over the KLG site not that long ago on a trip from Balikpapan. Tough place to do business for gold miners, just look at Newmont's litigation from Sulawesi. Be careful. | idioterna
21/6/2007 09:01 | Makes you wonder why we haven't heard any updates from the Xi'an LA, maybe the Mo situation has a little bearing. We're back to copper- again! Wols, i'd very much appreciate if you could give me your wise view of Kalimantan Gold (KLG) Very much off radors, very underexplored Bornea, repected OZ Co onboard helping finance, some impressive initial grades. Very early indications are possibly sitting on huge copper, gold deposits. Your brief view on the KLG thread appreciated, thanks. Sorry O/T folks. | davethechef
21/6/2007 08:53 | Maybe,maybe not | strow
21/6/2007 08:50 | China has stopped new moly mines being built, BTW. This may put a stop of exploration for moly by Xi'an | wolstencroft
21/6/2007 07:18 | Idio, "Obviously things must be going excellently". LOL! Their offices are nicer than my home! They do themselves well, but perhaps no better than other mining companies in that area. Still, given the company track record it is a shock. | nobull
20/6/2007 22:25 | The Japanese are increasingly desperate for obtaining huge amounts of metals/minerals aswell, so SCR get in quick, include them in Zhunuo, and Xi'an and make us some bucks! | davethechef
20/6/2007 18:29 | nobull - Obviously things must be going excellently to have moved into such nice offices at a prestigious address (just across the road from my cigar shop). | idioterna
20/6/2007 16:39 | Happened to be passing SCR's offices today (EGM nearby), so popped in to check the share register. To save them the bother of requesting an up to date copy I accepted verbal assurances that SL has not sold off any. BTW, the offices, far from being what I thought they would be turned out to be quite posh (air conditioning, Jermyn St, ultra modern fittings, plate glass floor to ceiling dividers (stop the lower orders in the office hierarchy from ear wigging?). Not the broom cupboard I expected at all, which would be in keeping with the more distant prospect of ever receiving any income from a mine going into production. | nobull |
