He strikes me as more suited to wandering around a classic car show at a village fete on a Sunday afternoon than running an AIM O&G.

Well, I guess a lot depends on whether Calvalley comes through with the deal. Time will tell whether this blows up in your face or not.

Not really? What do you mean? They are selling 50-60% below conversion price. That's a fact, not desperation. They are likely to keep selling these in future weeks too, just like last month. I'd suggest they'd rather exit with something rather than nothing. RIP SOU.

Conversion price of 2.25p, so why would the lender sell @ c.50% loss with developments upcoming? Smacks of desperation on your part B33661.

Latest RNS Today - as suspected, the poor institution that lent 4,5m to SOU at 2.2p equivalent is getting run over and looks like a forced seller. Another 22m shares to be sold over the coming weeks. Means only one thing for the share price I'm afraid....

Ok, fair enough if that's the case. But, really is that the case? You don't care about who and by inference why the share price is getting smacked since the June funding RNS?

@B33661.....why have a sweepstake to find out information most of the holders probably don't care about?

Who is the seller? In the good ole days, when this share price went up most the time instead of down there used to be completions or sweepstakes about the Xmas share price and stuff like that. There's a big consistent seller out there who keeps selling day after day at close to new lows. They clearly think they see an issue you lot don't. So why don't we have a sweepstake as to who the seller is? I suspect it will become obvious in the next couple of months....

That is a pretty odd view. It's like saying all those buyers of SOU at 80-100p knew what they were doing too. Again heavy sell side action today given summer volumes. This will be moved by negative sentiment, extreme risk and impact of higher interest rates on cost of capital until this mgt team actually get over the line something that delivers actual SH value. They have not done that yet, instead excelling at destroying SH value due to dilution of share base and assets. Any old fool can do that, it's much harder to add sh value, and the market knows it, hence decent selling on the bid again at near all time lows

Of course the price has moved. 1.01 to sell and 1.06 to buy. But why buy SOU when there are better Moroccan gas plays right now? Maybe there won't be a requirement for Phase 2?

@FB.... Might be worth averaging down at these levels. MMS playing with the spread to make it appear in The red every day, yet the price has not moved. I want it to drop further so I can top up cheaper , main buy at 1.5p and some at 1.9.... So 0.9 would help my averaging down price a lot!

there are alot of gas stocks at rock bottom... angus and block energy to name two..and now we are heading into winter these two producers look very good value at 0.75p and 1.3p...gas prices will only increase especially if its a cold winter which looks likely

That's the third or maybe even fourth time you have trotted that line out. For the sake of balance and interest please dream up some new ones .

To me it looks like Graham & Co are well out of their depth without a life jacket. Reminds me of that crook JP.

Yes the "willing buyer" explains why the share price is plunging.
