The half year update puts a floor on revenue of, say, £24m so your £28m is quite possible.
I think the current FD is a significant improvement on the previous FD so the promotions will come out of revenue and there won't be another fund raise (as Scott speculated earlier in the year).
My main interest is in the recent performance in the run up to Xmas and as there won't be any December news, so it will really be about November's performance. If it has been good they will trumpet it from the rooftops.
I'm not at all sure that good, even brilliant, results will move the share price that much as current opinions are so high.
I have no concerns about customer retention. It's interesting to compare the Sosandar designs with Karen Millen (BOO takeover). I suspect that Oasis is the nearest competitor.
I am puzzled by the 'if they buy it from M&S then they will shift to the SOS website' argument. Maybe the size and variety of offerings on the M&S website makes it dominant and they aren't bothered bout losing a few customers to the brand websites.
I was amused when M&S came out with a statement that they weren't becoming a brands shop - never believe anything until it is officially denied.
My daughters' were horrified at the leopard print frocks, which gave me significant confidence in the SOS designers. 😊
Keep up the market research, sunshine.

Hi APAD I think revenue expectations have to be around £28mil + min gross margin @ 58% but certainly have been shelling out on the advertising so numbers could be significantly higher IMO therefore retention figures that appear to have always been good will be key .. I think there are going for growth now over profit that it's clearly reached critical mass

Good to see the product research on here.
I used to receive daily emails from SOS but they seem to have dumped me 😊 Good to see they are managing their mailing list.
I have bought 75 times since Oct 2018 (average price 19.5p) and been following the designs since then.
I was surprised at. the lack of logistics impact and modified my view of them as a build and test company. More about the market knowledge of the founders - they must have been carrying stock.
They have done well since the IC said 'sell' in January.

These were my and Paul Scott's forecasts back in April 😊.
2022 apad
Revenue 18
Costs 16
EBITDA 2
2022 Scott
Revenue 18
Costs 18
EBITDA 0
I now think the revenue figures will be much higher and so forecasts are now very difficult.

Out of interest, from my notes - M&S resurgence not surprising.

"Coming online through March, April and May, to be sold alongside M&S’s core range and in-house brands Autograph, Goodmove and Per Una, will be:
Hobbs (womenswear)
Jack & Jones (menswear)
Joules (womenswear)
Phase Eight (womenswear)
Seasalt (womenswear)
Selected Femme/Selected Homme (men's and women's wear)
Sloggi (lingerie)
Sosandar (womenswear)
Triumph (lingerie)
White Stuff (womenswear)
In January M&S completed its purchase of Jaeger out of administration.

In October womenswear brand Nobody’s Child launched on M&S’s website, as exclusively revealed by Drapers at the time. In the same month, the retailer also teamed up with Ghost London to create a capsule women’s and children's wear collection for autumn/winter 20.

A branded kidswear offer from Brand Machine Group launched last week with Elle Junior, Russell Athletic, Ben Sherman and Original Penguin. Brands at M&S will also offer exclusive product including from Finery and Ghost."

Thanks again for the research.

Moving on little volume - we will have 2 months of post results trading in the update - whilst it's only two i think the momentum left from the last update should best clearly visible in current trading -

Read my post below - I don't know but I can summise from the following If you go on M+S - then women's - then New In then say Tops - then sort by "best sellers" and look what's is on the first page - same for boots, trousers , jeans etcIt's only a snap shot - but it's been consistently with many products on the first page and mostly the first item displayed
