Singers new note hasnt updated - they have just added a caveat about h2 positives may lead to ... etc .. I'll dig it out TBF - SOS has a terrible record of missing projections - I think 2021 H1 was the first one ever met / beaten.. so I can understand what they are playing it calm as they should have learnt by now that it is better to underpromise and over deliver

New catalogue just dropped on the mat ! I think I may have made a big mistake referring the missus to sos - at this rate it's gonna need a 4 bagger to break even !

"...the last one was at a premium"

Oh look, £50m market cap as well. One can never have too much 'belief'. :-)

Because the average basket/ product is so much higher than your plt / boohoo's the economies of scale and margin improvements really come into play at this level of revenue .. 10% increase is worth multiples of that on the bottom line

LOL Glavey, I always enjoy your cynicism.

Evidently I was referring to any new buyer, but you are correct, there have been several fundraising opportunities along the way for institutions to acquire an interest.

re the webinar this morning, interested to hear 3rd party sellers only make up 20% of sales, which would imply that the brand and company website traffic has benefitted from the increased exposure via NEXT, JL and M&S platforms.

Yeah right ! No worries here you won't see a placing .. you know it ... over £7!mil and trading cash positive ( confirmed in the presentation ) and the last one was at a premium !

"Difficult to buy any meaningful holding here if you are an institutional type of investor."

I wouldn't worry, they have done just fine participating in all the placings so they can just wait for the next one to come along. :-)

I listened in and was once again struck by the concise and professional way that management handled any questions. they certainly seem to have their finger on the pulse and present well.

Last Q, 6 months numbers are off with the auditor, expect an update in December with full financials.

Re turnover, I believe the comment was that they are trading cash generative. Will look for the recording and check when available.

Difficult to buy any meaningful holding here if you are an institutional type of investor. I'd expect this to be supported in the coming days/weeks as professional buyers try to get involved.

Happy to hold. My thoughts only.

Agree - you can work out the numbers yourself, we should be looking @ full year revenue of pushing close to £30 million without anything spectacular in growth considering it's wardrobe change time and Xmas .. on those numbers and margins growing IMO we will be trading profitable almost now but certainly before year end

Listened into webcast earlier and finance director said they're being conservative with their 'trading ...in line with market expectations' statement as only a few days into H2. I wouldn't be surprised if when interims are issued we then get a 'significantly ahead of market expectations' statement.

The only thing I think to add an answer to a question around cash position reduction.

answer was that the cash had been used as stated to build and broaden inventory.. currently the company is trading cash neutral /positive.. I will check the exact word when the presentation is avaiable..

very happy with the way things are going..

luck to be able to be able to add first thing.. BG23 iI think you are right, the customer aqustion, brand recongnition and retention are working hand in hand..I think they should target affleuent area 35s plus as much as possible.. As i mentioned in an earlier post - I introduced my wife - she bought a selection of clothes - loved most of ..especially the boots and now shes got all her mates ordering . Key market 35 - 50 size 8-14

I sold out of these over the last two weeks, price action was terrible and I read across from BOO and thought they might be having problems.
So well done to those who took advantage and either held on or even better bought in.
