19/12/2017 16:37 | davwall, How much ££ do you reckon SOS wasted in P (both ways paid by them?) & P on your returned purchases? | bbmsionlypostafter
19/12/2017 13:54 | My other half's recent trial of Sosander products wasn't conclusive. She ordered two sizes of one dress (whereas I'd thought it was to be two different outfits) but it was not to be. She felt it was shorter than pictured, which matters to middle-aged women..., and also convinced herself the style wasn't for her. Although lighter in weight than it appeared in the picture, the quality of the dress for the price point looked okay to my eyes (made in Turkey). The overall service was excellent - so long as we get the refund in good time... Overall, our experience reflected nothing more/less than the usual challenges of online buying. For retailers, they obviously have to face quite high return rates/costs because many potential buyers often get several items to choose from if returns are free. Anyway, as an investment I'm still chewing it over. | davwall

19/12/2017 09:50 | Nice article in The Times today looking at SOS founders. Loving the Bit about £40 million turnover by year five :) | rathean
18/12/2017 23:30 | I'm pretty sure it will fit - she's kind of between sizes, its whether the fit looks OK on her, which is of course a highly sensitive issue which will put me in the usual awkward position, which I usually get out of by pretending I'm drunk and disappearing into the kitchen to do the Christmas dinner. Fortunately daughter is home for Christmas and she can 'advise' truthfully, without getting a load of stick ;-) | yump
18/12/2017 19:44 | Why didn't you order 4, just in case, pick the one you want, and then return the other 3? | pj 1
18/12/2017 17:35 | Well the dress arrived. Good quality. Some attention has been given to packaging/branding as it arrived in a nice black box with the Sosandar name on it, in a transparent protective cover - so you could see the brand - every little helps. Have to see what 'er indoors thinks of it and the fit, on Christmas day. | yump
18/12/2017 09:27 | 300k buy nice | nw99
17/12/2017 23:44 | That's the problem. Nobody wants to say at what price its a reasonable buy. Just 'its a buy' or 'its a sell'. Vote Labour or Conservative. Its nothing to do with cash running out or not. Its all to do with valuation. There are sound businesses with growth futures floating at p/e's of 10 on actual profits that they are making and then there's floats like this. So the buy point is the tricky bit and its actually dependent entirely on sentiment and also how much in advance people are prepared to pay for future profits or revenue. Of course if you get enough buzz going, there could be enough punters to keep the price up, but if you went knocking on their doors asking for money for a similar loss-making startup, they would probably tell you to get lost. That's the beauty of floats - they give a sort of face credibility to everything. | yump
17/12/2017 19:52 | It's a buy either way | nw99
17/12/2017 19:20 | Hmmm, who right? Paul Scott, serial picker of good stocks, former FD of a successful ladies fashion chain, who's spoken to mgmt, reckons there's enough cash to see them through for 2 years (we'll call it 18 months to add in an error factor) and seen enough to take 1% of the company, or, an internet random who has nothing to offer other than "this sucks". Tough one. Hopefully they'll put out some numbers post Christmas to support TW's claim sales are 30% better than expected at this stage. It remains a punt. | mauricemonkey
17/12/2017 14:46 | It doesn't need deramping. Something with a market cap. of £13mln, revenue of £1mln and larger losses would only be put into Dragon's Den as part of 'some scenes have been created for your entertainment' content. ie. so you can watch the Dragons explode or laugh hysterically. Any share price rises here depend ENTIRELY on people thinking they will be 'left out' and the 'in it to win it' mantra of the fixed odds machine. | yump
17/12/2017 07:48 | Spreadex dumping shares into weak market | ggbarabajagal
15/12/2017 23:13 | So many derampers on this thread...it's laughable | montynj
15/12/2017 22:23 | It's not a puntLook at the valuation You can buy better on eBay ffsI promise you this will not be even a penny in six monthsPin my post | turbotrader2
15/12/2017 12:57 | He also made it clear, having spoken to mgmt he thought all forecasts were under the mark and he thinks that performance is around 30% better than expected. It remains a punt. | mauricemonkey
