28/1/2019 07:19 | RNS out. Delisting from TSX. Morocco drilling in late Q3 No firm guidance on SD drilling this year Looks like incremental growth, but no obvious sources of excitement. | ![]() haideralifool
26/1/2019 13:18 | Incidentally did the water injector well ever increase production in meseda or was the increase due to rabul find. | ![]() neo26
15/1/2019 18:48 | Not as shallow as my swimming pool but nevertheless quite shallow :) S.Ramadan "The 26.2 km2 concession, located in 27 meters of water, contains two proven productive horizons in the Eocene age Thebes and Senonian age Matulla carbonates. These horizons, combined, have produced 3.75 mmbbls of light oil to date from two existing wells tied back to an existing platform. The wells are shut-in and there is no production currently. The work commitment, over the 10 year extension period granted in December 2013, consists of $23 million gross ($2.93 million net) for one new well and facility upgrades." | ![]() captain james t kirk
15/1/2019 18:25 | At least if it flows and gives them say 250 barrels a day entitlement production then they'll recoup their share of the cost to drill over a couple of years. Indeed it was predicted to be a duster so this would be a good result assuming it actually flows. Let's hope it does. | ![]() shakeypremis
15/1/2019 17:02 | ShakeypI haven't seen the details of the SR licence, but if it's like any normal licence there's going to be cost recovery, which will raise their entitlements significantly for some time during early production. Other than that, yes, the impact on SDX's revenues isn't that dramatic, but it's never been rated as such by the company.a success is always going to be welcome though, even it's no where near transformational! | ![]() greyingsurfer
15/1/2019 15:36 | Yup, it's straddled by two rather large oil fields both about 5 kms away. Ramadan and Morgan with a combined 2000 MMBO. | ![]() captain james t kirk
15/1/2019 15:14 | Neo26, because this is SDX. Wasn't South Ramadan in the Gulf of Suez? Although it was in a shallow part. | ![]() shakeypremis
15/1/2019 14:54 | Why is it falling?Surely this find onshore should add value to sdx and not the other way around. Now they can sell for value... | ![]() neo26
14/1/2019 17:38 | My musings regarding SR from the LSE board; Surely for this well to give much of an uplift to SDX's production levels it's going to have to flow around the 10,000bopd mark isn't it? SDX have a 12.75% working interest in the well and after the state take circa 50% of SDX's WI they are left with around 7% let's say which on 10,000bopd gross leaves SDX with an economic interest of circa 650bopd. Thoughts anyone? I am right in saying that SDX's economic interest is lower than the 12.75% equity stake they have right? If I'm not that makes this about twice as interesting lol. | ![]() shakeypremis
14/1/2019 14:24 | I like what was said in the interview - SD, oil! but there are some obstacles (local) that he can not tell about SD and new 3D seismic 63% finished will not be finished by end of January (this year). he was lying prob knowingly | ![]() kaos3

14/1/2019 08:50 | See what oil flows meanwhile, if good then we are back on track. | ![]() wisteria2
14/1/2019 08:42 | Kaos3: old news. PW is just repeating his last update about SD coming onstream'by the end of' H1 2019. After the much-repeated 'end of 2018' over-promise, this leaves plenty of scope for the market to be pleasantly surprised if SD starts earning from, say, the end of Q1. Though from what I've experienced with AIM over the last two years, SD starting up will probably be met with a substantial price fall, not a rise in response to welcome news. | matchmade
14/1/2019 08:30 | Drewster in the results released at end of November, they were no more specific about LnB1 other than to say that the retesting will happen in 2019. And it will be combined with a drilling programme. So perhaps H2. | ![]() haideralifool
14/1/2019 08:21 | LNB-1 was described by Malcy as a Barnburner in April when the drill result was announced, they are due to revisit and test in 2019. | ![]() the drewster
14/1/2019 08:04 | SD end of H1 meaning H2 :( more drifting and sliding SP | ![]() kaos3
14/1/2019 07:54 | Good stuff. | ![]() ifthecapfits
14/1/2019 07:53 | 2019 will surely be defined by what happens at SD and how it is managed. | ![]() the drewster
14/1/2019 07:44 | I sold out last month fed up with the share price not matching the rhetoric for a sustained period of time now. Possibly a mistake but only time will tell. | ![]() bountyhunter
14/1/2019 07:13 | I find S.Ramadan interesting. PW had previously appeared to write it off. Perhaps we should have clubbed together and accepted his offer of $1 to buy it :) | ![]() captain james t kirk
11/1/2019 08:51 | Sorting out SD hopefully | ![]() the drewster
11/1/2019 08:45 | I wonder what are they doing daily. If I think how much they had to do on the daily basis during most of the last year - what are they engaged in right now? | ![]() kaos3
09/1/2019 15:07 | CJK, indeed we did. | ![]() shakeypremis |
