At least if it flows and gives them say 250 barrels a day entitlement production then they'll recoup their share of the cost to drill over a couple of years. Indeed it was predicted to be a duster so this would be a good result assuming it actually flows. Let's hope it does.

ShakeypI haven't seen the details of the SR licence, but if it's like any normal licence there's going to be cost recovery, which will raise their entitlements significantly for some time during early production. Other than that, yes, the impact on SDX's revenues isn't that dramatic, but it's never been rated as such by the company.a success is always going to be welcome though, even it's no where near transformational!

Yup, it's straddled by two rather large oil fields both about 5 kms away.
Ramadan and Morgan with a combined 2000 MMBO.

My musings regarding SR from the LSE board;

Surely for this well to give much of an uplift to SDX's production levels it's going to have to flow around the 10,000bopd mark isn't it? SDX have a 12.75% working interest in the well and after the state take circa 50% of SDX's WI they are left with around 7% let's say which on 10,000bopd gross leaves SDX with an economic
interest of circa 650bopd.

Thoughts anyone? I am right in saying that SDX's economic interest is lower than the 12.75% equity stake they have right? If I'm not that makes this about twice as interesting lol.

but
there are some obstacles (local) that he can not tell about SD
and
new 3D seismic 63% finished will not be finished by end of January (this year). he was lying prob knowingly

Kaos3: old news. PW is just repeating his last update about SD coming onstream'by the end of' H1 2019. After the much-repeated 'end of 2018' over-promise, this leaves plenty of scope for the market to be pleasantly surprised if SD starts earning from, say, the end of Q1.

Though from what I've experienced with AIM over the last two years, SD starting up will probably be met with a substantial price fall, not a rise in response to welcome news.

Drewster in the results released at end of November, they were no more specific about LnB1 other than to say that the retesting will happen in 2019. And it will be combined with a drilling programme. So perhaps H2.

LNB-1 was described by Malcy as a Barnburner in April when the drill result was announced, they are due to revisit and test in 2019.

I sold out last month fed up with the share price not matching the rhetoric for a sustained period of time now. Possibly a mistake but only time will tell.
