If SDX doesn’t start to achieve fair value soon, surely it becomes an acquisition target, rather than it seeking out M&A opportunities?

Same here. Looks like a management team which is delivering on its promises and a company which is forging ahead. Either I'm missing something that the sellers have spotted or vice versa.

Yeah, results do look really good. Receivables still quite high but are coming down. Most recent 3 months to end of June only circa $1m was paid down.

I like that SDX is quiet at the moment - as far as forums, twitter etc, is concerned. Ticking up on low volumes and quietly going about its business out in the field. Can see us getting a nice steady rise from here.

He obviously enjoys the wining and dining with corporate execs, he may have a too optimistic view in relation to some companies and got them wrong (or been misled), but he does bring to light a lot of smaller oilies that I certainly wouldn't have even considered hadn't I stumbled across his blog. At the end of the day you make the choice to buy and sell shares, Malcy doesn't force you. I bought VOG because of a Malcy article but I soon sold them (at a loss) when I did some more digging (so I can understand some people's angst). However, I also bought SDX Energy (thanks to Malcy) which I believe to be a fantastic prospect and after doing plenty of research, attending the AGM, feel will at least double in value in the next six months.

I don'r research stocks as much or as well as I should. But it was kicking the tyres here that I realised why Malcy should be taken with a pinch of salt or several.

Metis20, sadly, what the Oil Walrus says is meaningless when it comes to SDX. He and everyone else have been going on about how undervalued things are here but it makes no difference. It'll go up when it goes up.
