Can't see why, not much going on...just the Meseda ESPs being replaced, news from Rabul-2, back to back wells in Morocco into the new year, when drilling kicks off again at South Disouq. ..... Move along, nothing to see here....

You could be right basem1, it's been easy to buy recently and some have reported problems selling, seems to have reversed.

Last week, Paul mentioned the negotiations with the Egyptian Authorities. The gas price at SD-1X is based on the economics of the well, therefore the Conservative report from GC at 47 BCF actually plays to SDX's advantage, as it's likely to result in a higher gas price than if the initial reserves were set higher. SDX is bound by TSX rules to only quote the independent report numbers rather than its higher internal estimates. Interesting times.

I echo that Griffin81. For them to be able to raise the sums they did to get HUR to first oil, it was inevitable equity was going to take a hit. However, HUR management did make that clear for an entire year (need for major funding in absence of corporate activity).

I am intrigued, perhaps there is something on the horizon. I wonder if that'll explain the share price pressure for months. Those in the know always get the nod before joe pi and lock in their profits.

G, can't say I disagree with that logic. The upside here should come before any material news at HUR. Though I do have exposure there because 'you never know' and to be honest Trice does comes across as being more transparent.

I follow HUR although I'm not invested at present. In fairness to Stifel, that was a complex structuring and it's always difficult on the outside to know exactly what played out internally. At the end of a process like that, even the most rational people can behave like petulant children. Once HUR get a little closer I intend to join, but in the meantime SDX should be materially higher than the current SP, and I like undervalued stocks. The Gaffney Cline report at SD depressed the share price, but their assessment on a "gas down to" basis was, in my opinion, overly conservative and the two upcoming drills to rightsize this discovery are low risk and likely to significantly increase the reserves estimate here. The recent Progressive Research note has a good commentary on this and ties in with Paul's comments at last weeks presentation. I'm now overweight in SDX, but a bargain is difficult to ignore, as MEA has also proven recently.

Giffin, Hurricane's shareholders were none too impressed by Stifel's fund-raising work recently. But it's a large organisation.

Cantor has just been graded as a C Minus, Paul has lost confidence in them, which is reasonable considering recent nonsense with the share price I don't usually buy conspiracy theories (although Richard Gage is convincing), but the last few weeks has been either blatant manipulation or CF failing to support adequately as II's naturally churn. Either way, I took advantage of the dip and added, as I'm sure anyone else who attended the presentation last week, saw the opportunity and how undervalued this is, would have done also. Will be interesting to see if we get more transparent share price movements going forwards.

Trouble is, PW could repeat when he sees another opportunity because it's so convenient. Frustrating.

...As I've pointed out a few times, the placing to buy Circle was at 30p...... Yawn........
