Without flogging it to death, I do not believe that "too much positive news can be confusing."
The confusion arises when the news is not consistent and/or lacking in detail.
I do find it surprising that investors in the O&G sector are unaware of SDX. They have had plenty of exposure, including of course the famous "bucket list."
Perhaps Malcy should change the name :)
Incidentally, are you or anyone else going to the Proactive presentation next week.
If so, it's perhaps submit our questions time.

CJK, I pinged an email to Mark at IR, with out teaching the proverbial "sucking of eggs", but in the presentation on Thursday PW could address the medium term goal of the company. Talking to the Sound investors last week they firstly knew very little/nothing about SDX ( which is surprising ) but also couldn,t get their head around the number of drills and range of portfolio. So I explained to Mark the potential thinking of PI,s and SDX,s competition in the investor marketplace and that too much positive news can be confusing! Unless it is reiterated with a simple message of "WE are aiming in the next 12 months to achieve resources/BOPDE of.... with a medium term goal of proving up/producing... and selling out to a major and more importantly we are so far down this road ... Otherwise as everyone is saying with only 50m share freefloat why is there such caution amongst the PI community. 50 m shares only equates to £25m!

Do the sums. What could they reasonably be expected to add to the share price.
It all depends upon flow rates and reserves. We know that for Morocco they are looking to increase gas sales during this programme by 50%.
Rabul 2 in the region of 1500 bopd to SDX ? All will be revealed shortly.
Gloucester mentioned PW's credibility on the back of the Chariot debacle. One would have thought that he would accordingly be more circumspect during interviews and of course in taking business decisions.
Not to the extent of not announcing spuds though:)

The price action is very odd here. Are they going to do another placing to buy something perhaps? I'm starting to wonder if even good news on Rabul-2 and Morocco will move the share price.

Yes wossupa good reason.
Of course the market should continue to go head over heels for overblown, over valued jam tomorrow oilers that are nothing more than hot air and will probably produce little or nothing in their short life times, than a debt free company with loads of cash producing circa 4000bpd and finding hydrocarbons with every drill.

The Cantor broker note, which reiterated its buy investment rating and raised the target price to 84p, was issued on the 7th July. So the upside from the recent drilling and (provisionally) better than expected results is not yet included. The Shares article should have been titled; 'Double your money (again) with SDX....'
