Price of Oil up yet again overnight

$62+ on brent crude, yet it matters not a jot to the share price here. I suppose MEA have still got more to acquire, and who knows what else is going on in the background unbeknownst to us mug private investors.

Thanks tgg. Of course as you point out 35 x 35 is the whole block of 1275 sq km, which makes the 10km extension even more impressive.

Much smaller than that - the block is "only" about 1200 sq kms. 3D coverage about a quarter of the block

Yes, PW stated in the recent PI interview that they previously believed the Abu Madi channel to terminate at the southern boundary of where they had shot their existing 3D
but the SDX well results show this channel to extend for a further "10 kms or so" beyond that boundary.

Neo, good point. The figures Paul stated for the internal assessment of SD of 1.5 to 2.2 TCF related to the 300KM area they have seismic data for. With an additional 100 to 200KM of additional seismic due to be added next year, it will be interesting to see what else they identify.

GriffithWorth mentioning sdx has only evaluated 20% of the license area..Who know what else they will find...

The internal estimates from SDX for gas at SD is between 1.5 and 2.2 TCF. With the SD-1X discovery de-risking the licence area, I'm fairly confident this is the reason MEA is loading up on the cheap. Oil at SD would just be a very large cherry on top!

They are continuing to buy shares. This is being held back to facilitate this buying. I already have a lot of shares here but MEA see the current price as good value. I wonder what they are buying for? Maybe it's the big combined gas structure around sd1x or perhaps it's the sd1x oil system.

This is being played like a fiddle, every time the share price hits the bottom of the trend, MEA adds further. Nice to see they still have confidence to continue extending their lead as the largest shareholder. KSR-14 is likely to be worth between $20m and $30m to SDX, which is very impressive and yet not a penny / cent of this has been reflected in the SP, yet. Before the end of next month, we have flow rates at KSR-14 and Rabul-2 , KSR-15 outcome, spud of the next well in Morocco, spud of the first well in South Disouqe, update on reserves and update regarding SD-1X connection. My holding here is already my largest, however I'm copying MEA and keep adding on the dips.

ksr-14 going into test production by the 6th oct so rns Monday to confirm.good time to buy ahead of the news.

There are a string of Moroccan dev wells on the way, most of them should be commercial. The KSR-14 well has probably covered for the statistical failure expected in the rest of the dev wells. By year end we can reasonably expect news on a South Disouq production agreement & also the start of the drilling campaign there.

There's news due for the next 150 days or so, on current plans. Not sure what you're referring to when you mention "news due in less than 30 days". Still, I'm getting used to odd statements on this board.

The new support here looks to be around 50p. Keeps bouncing off this level, around five times now. With news due in less than 30 days I hope we leave this area behind and go higher at that time at the latest. Hopefully it will be good news. If not then this level or lower will probably be reality.

Hmmm, the graph in the header is beginning to look rather familiar to the trend set through the last agreed fund raising. Range bound with mid point 51.5p. I would say a round 50p if anything is going on in the background.

That's not a de-ramp, its just an observation. I loaded up here after the COP deal with the cash from the IAE take-over and haven't traded anything. As tgg mentions if another COP style deal presents itself, then great, but I did expect the share price to be beyond this level when I bought in. Still 2018 looking good here.

Testing first, reserves report follows!! Early indications were that Rabul-2 may add circa 2mmbbls to reserves. I'd guess that KSR-14 may add 2-3bcf

I know they are still testing them. I am just saying, getting news on reserves will be a great help here.
