As he points out they must be extremly confident on what they have already found or think they are going to find to be doing this .

Could be news as early as next week .

If the results are as good as they think they will be the market will price in the other 12 priority sites which as yet have little or no value .

dozy duck - of course each and every share will ultimately tread it's on path but to believe that at any given time wider sector sentiment and and in the case of solg, commodity prices wouldn't affect the share price is naive in the extreme.

Speaking if which it finally looks like gold maybe about to break below 1900 in the next session or two. That being the case e&p co's will almost certainly take a hit. For solg not to follow would require some exceptional news.

Usually, but not always, end of day climbs like that are due to leaked news. Seems to have also impacted CGP and so won't be our regional exploration. Any insiders want to share?

LT, the "true value" here must be huge if there's 13 more Alpala's and heaven knows what in the 60 other sites, but first something of considerable value needs to be sold so that a couple of hundred drills can be got turning.

Patience mk. This is an ultrathon, not a sprint. The numerous items impacting our price will start to unwind over the next year and we will be able to more clearly see our true value.

Seller moved un and taken it down ... now why would that happen when if they had left it they would have got 26.80 minimum ...Takeover coming ..Seema those at CGP know about it .

Clearly SOLG has shrugged off the technical breach and the Porvenir drilling announcement. My thoughts have now moved over to my expectations from the 3 drilling locations.

There is obviously mineral resource at all 3 locations. The 2 big questions are how much resource and is it economic to extract.

In the case of La Hueca, as an open pit, the extraction costs will have a lower hurdle. The expected mineral content would make it a good mid tier proposition. My guess is that it might have an NPV in the hundreds of millions rather than billions. So, if it drills successfully and gets put towards production, it could add 3 or 4p onto the immediate share price.

Porvenir and Rio Amarillo are both similar to Alpala. They will need more work than La Hueca to prove and have less chance passing the economic hurdle. However, both sites have the potential to be larger and more valuable than Alpala depending on the detailed drill findings. If either site proves larger and more valuable than Alpala, we could see lift-off for SOLG and my guess would be to a minimum of 60p and probably a lot higher.

Do we have anyone brave enough to put a probability of success on Porvenir / Rio Amarillo?
