I was bid for 700,000 at 20.5p immediately before the close...

Monday could be interesting...

Also looking to see the Uncrossing Trade...I'm guessing 22p plus...

Good day...at last...!!!

I've had a long held view, stated here a few times, that a successful bid would need to be in the 60p - 120p range. I retain that view but it's based on no new confirmed findings. If Porvenir is promising, the price should hit 50p without a bid. My bid range would then need to be increased to 80p - 150p. Exciting times.

We have an iceburg on at 22.10 and has taken maybe 150/200k . Meantime the 22.15 got taken out . Might be a frisky friday finish .

Looks like the MM,s are trying to get some stock

Now have 50k at 22.15 and added another 25k at 22.30.

This may work against them if a hungary buyer wants a bit of volume these will be taken out .

Joe punter might be frightened of buying at 22.15 thinking there is no profit for them all fun and games .

Interesting that the price has been pulled back from resistance on very low volume and no obvious imbalance between buyers and sellers. Looks like some sizeable sell orders would be triggered at 22.5. If I were the MM, I'd deliberately trigger them.

We've taken out the placing price. Now need to take out resistance at 22.5p. if that goes, fully expect to see 30p within a week.

We all know this.
Have to wait for the herd to arrive.
Looks like they may have worked out what a good buy SOLG is.

Is the wider market just realising what's happening here? The price is crazy low given likely events over the next 6 months. It's fast becoming a traders dream with potential bid, potential discoveries, financing news, CGP, gold prices etc. The price has to explode at some point.

Lowtrawler ..indeed .

Can you imagine working on 5/6 possible tier 1 projects .. might even effect the gold/copper price . We would not want an oversupply 😃

Trouble is, sites take a lot of money to prove, get to PEA, PFS, DFS and so the more positive results they get, the more money they'll need. Good problem to have.

Mk, he seemed cautious mentioning that timeline and I guess it will depend on whether they have found another tier 1 or not. If they have, the drilling will take a lot longer in order to prove it up.

There were a large number of important snippets. PFS was reconfirmed end September and specifically pre BHP furlough ending. Full set of conditional financing in place for Alpala development by the end of this year. Equity will be an element of the funding but somehow tied to the end project value (convertibles?). Porvenir first to be drilled. Completion of drilling by end of year...

It was very thorough , revealing and optimistic but I will wait for the Franco signing to indicate the next real step forward ---- unless that is they come up with an actual great drilling report in the meantime.

Agreed Lowtrawler - It was the most comprehensive interview Nick Mather has given in my book and I have seen many! The interviewer and Nick Mather were both on the ball.

It will be interesting to see whether the red cloud event next week is an open-ended interview or just a presentation with Q&A afterwards. I hope it is the former.

Porvenir has twice the size of outcrop as at Alpala and higher mineral content than Alpala....

Excellent interview Pob. Just listened to the whole thing and it addresses virtually all areas of interest to shareholders. In addition to the points you have extracted, there are a large number of other items of interest. Firmly recommend everyone to listen to it. e.g. if someone wants to buy us, at some point the price becomes so high it becomes indefensible but it's not our intention to be bought....

Very interesting comments made by Nick Mather. Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador:

15 mins - Robust response to Newcrest and Craig Jones (who he praises)
20 mins - Complimentary on BHP
22:35 mins - "...very focussed on getting additional institutions in last capital raising. The institional base will increasing will be a good basis on which to raise further equity at project or corproate level though not keen on more corporate level". He talks about "institutions" in addition to Franco. Who?
24 mins - Cornerstone bid is a life-bouy for them
26 mins - Compares how the majors showed rude discontent with Fortescue when it grew and sees the same happening here
27 mins - "...Everything has its price but only on project value basis not on market cap£ (which he re-iterates numerous time)
30 mins - "clearly not all the 13 will be world class ore bodies but ...great many will be..."
