Seems NM,s attitude is a little softer regarding a takeover of Alpala and the market seems to like it .
We may see a quick rerate . Suggest Arcadian that you make small purchases as the Sp could be alot higher by the time Francos news is confirmed .

I reckon that Cascabel could be sold at its current state of development for around GBP 1bn. However, SOLG aren't willing to consider that option which leaves a bid as the only way for a major to get hold of it. If Cascabel is worth 1bn, how much the whole?BHP and Newcrest know more about the other prospects than anyone else. In particular, Rio Amarillo looks massive and could prove to dwarf Cascabel. I suspect they would be willing to gamble on finding at least 1 more Cascabel and possibly 2. If I'm correct, it would place competitive bids in the 100p range.

LT, whichever big miner ends up owning Solg, knows they won't have to go searching for any more prospects for well over a century. It would be a gift at $5 billion and very good value at $10 billion, if those other 13 sites are as rich as Cascabel, and then there would 60 other sites to pick over too. I'd prefer to see Alpala sold for something like $1.5 billion, thus providing ample cash for Solg to develope other sites. But we do seem to be in play, so lets see where it goes.

We are so clearly undervalued at current levels that a sudden spike in the price won't surprise me. In my view, our minimum price should reflect Cascabel and I believe it is worth around 30p in the current share price (far more once we are in production). Effectively, at 30p I reckon you get all our other prospects thrown in for free. Hence, at 21p, you are either undervaluing Cascabel or expecting the other prospects to lose us money.

There`s something odd about today`s dealing especially as we run up to the next webinar. Maybe another RNS today or Monday?

Perhaps some closer to the action know that the Franco deal has been signed but I will wait for the actual news.

Newcrest are invested in the main stakeholder in Ecuador at an average of 31p and Nas_daq suggest they're bailing out at 20p. Tells you all you need to know about Nas_daq's motives for being here.

Looks like good news soon , there will always be some who know more than us .I do however agree 3m buys against nearly nothing should have the price up a wee bit more . Maybe later we will shoot up to 23 or 24p .

Given last night and the RNS I just wonder what the purpose of the webinar is and whether it will produce anything new vis a vis any of our current issues although news of the completion of the Franco deal would more than suffice I had a book once called The Battle for the Mind and that`s where we seem to be, in the short term anyway.

Given 16X more buys than sells this morning especially from the book trades who said that markets are efficient. Something wrong somewhere.

Well they have another known 12 to do, and then there's circa another 60 to shake a stick at. Won't do any harm to put out a heli survey rns once a week. After a while it might dawn that there is enough gold to produce 1 million oz's a year for several hundred years.

Someone is picking up lots of 50k blocks at 20.5 helping the volume along today ( as well as rp's near 300k). Unfortunately, excluding these, volume is still too low for a direction of travel.

As a piece of PR, it's fabulous. Pick your most attractive prospect where you have already confirmed the geomagnetic properties from ground surveys. Pop some test equipment in a helicopter and confirm the ground survey. Publish an RNS repeating the ground survey result.Yes, it reminds people what we have. Yes, it may help obtain the permits. Yes, it satisfies the need to keep the good news following. No, it doesn't tell us anything new.

We PIs have been desperate for news to kickstart the share price ..

Now you might think the Rio Amarillo RNS was a waste of time, but I don't...

They could have picked others...I think:

1 This is the start of a steady stream of news, aimed at bulldozing the bears;

2 I think we'll get more running up to the webinar, which if Nick got the feedback from the last one, has to be more upbeat and meaty

3 This RNS might have been aimed at the Ecuadorian authorities to nudge them into permitting RA

Me, I'm just waiting for the Franco Nevada signoff and that should put a floor under the shares...meanwhile, we sold all our HOC, CEY and POLY to fund this latest purchase...

Indeed, the sooner the authorities issue the permits the quicker Ecuador will get the economic benefits from its mineral endowment.
