Given what was actually said today which was I don`t believe for us he could easily have waited until next Wednesday but he didn`t wait so the RNS would seem to be part of a more strategic approach to the current and proximate situation.

Happy enough greenelf. Disappointed the first exploration result is a PR stunt Was hoping for news on the Rio Amarillo drill permits.

I seem to recall SOLG being criticized during the last period of exploration for publishing every insignificant piece of exploration finding they had. I'd much rather they did this than keep us in the dark. However, it means we need to take responsibility for separating the important results from the unimportant.

Long term follower provides update Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

"...A glaring exception is Solgold (LON:SOLG), who one would have thought should also be unstoppable from its current 20p levels, now that it has raised funds to arrange external financing for its very large Alpala copper-gold project, and to resume its promising exploration throughout the rest of Ecuador. But there is now so much corporate rumour-mongering surrounding the shares, involving speculation about bidders jostling (which I think unlikely) and the probable failure of its resumed bid to buy out Cornerstone Capital with its 15% share of Alpala, that predicting when they will move decisively looks impossible. The log-jam might be cleared when Solgold publishes its updated Alpala feasibility study later this year."

I think when they hired the helicopter for Porvenir, they did a quick fly past Rio Amarillo with their magnetic testing kit on board already knowing the kit would go crazy.

The Rio Amarillo update looks suspiciously like hot air. It adds nothing to what we already new about the site and we are yet to get drill permits.

It was obvious there would be a placing they had no money.
Only munters like you refused to see the facts, a bit like you refuse to see the facts, no one is going to take solg out with an election in less than 8 months they don’t have to......they can wait and let Mather trash the share price with wonga style funding.........
They can’t afford to produce the mine and no one is going to bid for them whilst he tries to pretend he can....loving the fact your 25 percent down in 6 weeks.....couldnt happen to a nice ramper......
Poor mkrampynight........fumbling around in the dark as usual...mind you that is probably better than fumbling around in a bunker with his sand wedge......lol

Markth126

Was not happy with the way the market was pushing the price down . Then of course we found out why .. a placing at 21.5p .

This time i see 3possibilities .

1. Concern over Franco deal or

2. Being held back for bid

3. Shorters ( which i doubt )

One seems to be sorted so we shall see what the market makes of it,

if that was the concern we could hit 22p today .

It's a good job we're not listed in the USA or Ingo would be reported to the SEC for making price sensitive statements without informing the market first. The FNV deal is done and we have 13 sites better than Alpala lol. If both these statements are factually accurate, we can expect a bumper RNS.

Thanks pob69

Copper meantime goes up to 284.55 on a down day for the markets which is certainly not the norm .

So with the Franco deal nearly sorted
And 13 other sites better than Alpala according to Ingo we wait confirmation of the first drilling results .

Price no doubt will rise over the coming weeks which will upset one of my stalkers .

But rise it must . Will try and top up tomorrow before the price goes much higher .

Spotlight webinar Ingo Hofmaier presenting Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

Positive to note that he seemed to confirm the Franco deal is complete.

Maybe there was an element of lost in translation but he stated Solgold has 13 priory targets BETTER than Alpala (sorry if that sounded rampy but he did say that).

Regretably there was some technical issues and the presentation was somewhat backwards looking until I had to leave it half the way through so no real clues....

Good afternoon

Not a bad day today ..its a start .

We know NM will be talking on the 15th next Wednesday about Cornerstone etc it seems highly likely that Franco will be mentioned in conversation . Who knows we might get confirmation of 150 million before the Webinar .👍😃

Frankly, it's impossible not to see value at the current price. We should currently be around the 30p mark and waiting for news to take us higher.

The next 6 months will be transformational. Either we have a successful bid and SOLG ceases to be or we are green flagged for DFS and production. We will have better knowledge on our other prospects and could be sitting on a 2nd Alpala.

Will this be low tide for Solg? A little over three months from now for BHP to come out of purdah, and the chess pieces are beginning to be arranged on the board. It's a fat and juicy prize that would keep any big miner going for well over a century if those other 13 sites are as good as Alpala. NM needs to get his skates on if he is going to get anywhere near a decent takeover price.
