What if NM had call from Rio and they say we want in. We give you £120m for 300m shares @ 40p.

bhp and newcrest anti dilution so they can add

THEN then then then!! You ave Newcrest 15%, BHP 15% and RIO 15%.

And best bit RIO ave 6 month lock in

ha ha ha

Sorry phat, you may want to edit that post. If the top 10 all want 15%, that would be 150% and not 95%.

The Australian Hot Copper boards for DGR offer plenty of useful Solgold intelligence/references but nothing to suggest anything out of the ordinary with any "additional irrational exurabance" or reference to Bell Potter.

Could be institutions buying via P bell? It’s a very round number and very large number to go through one broker

Not only that, I can't recall ever seeing an RNS with Bell Potter having a notifiable interest.

I wonder if those Bell Potter holders have bought on advice from their broker?

It looks to me that they are either a MM or POB is correct and it is the aggregate value of Australian retail Holdings. The list comes to 97.23% of SOLG shares and so I don't think it is a list of beneficial owners.

If the top 10 shareholders all want to be number 1 with 10-15% each then we who own the remaining 5% will be quids in. The only real way to make sure the price rockets is to hold onto your shares. They are in huge demand and it will be a grave mistake to sell with the hope of buying back cheaper.

Bell Potter is a member of the Bell Financial Group (BFG.ASX) of companies.

They are one of Australia's largest full service stockbrokers and a leading financial advisory firm, offering a full range of services to private, corporate and institutional clients.

I don't know but is this not an aggregate of Australian retail holdings held through Bell Potter (a larget amount nevertheless)? I note that the FT alo has a similar same list as the marketscreener but these don't tally with the latest official list 3/3/20 as provided by the company or the April presentation

Bell Potter Securities Ltd - they were the third highest shareholder in #Solgold - seems they have been buying up and now own more than #BHP.

Free float is minimal.

Funny you mention that rise to 80p.
I was in from 4p and sold at 20p on the morning of that rise and only got alerted when it was 50p and rising!
What a miserable £50k extra I could’ve made!

But the rise from 4p to 20p in the days before showed news was gonna Make this pop.

Just like the rise from 13p to 27p now... pop to 70p..!
