On a serious note. The sight of clean air in cities during the lockdown makes a good case for electric cars.

When we return back to normal sometime in 2021 then copper will be closer to 3.3.

The mine life is so long that the low copper prices of the last 10 years will no longer be the case and 3.3 will be conservative. We have 5 years to get there but the offset to copper price risks are gold rocketing up, improved recoverability and lower discount rates, with a Govt that wants mining to be the centre of its growth for the next few decades.

My numbers are based on similar assumptions of the PEA in Nov 19: it said at an 8% discount rate we have a mean NPV of $4,339m.

At a 6% discount rate (something NM hinted in webinar), that becomes closer to $5,950.

Then the same report had sensitivities of Gold price up 10% from $1,300 takes us to $6.5bn but the price is not up 10%, it is already up 33% and will rise by atleast 50-60% by 2025, possibly 100%! But let’s be realistic - this takes our NPV to $9-10bn, even with the decline in copper prices, which will
Be at 3.3 by 2025 anyway.

Covert to GBP = £7.5bn

30% to 40% of £7.5bn is what the takeover should be at if we add in ALL other prospects for free. That’s c£2.25 to £3bn.

Assuming 2.2bn shares in issue thats £1.02 to £1.36 just for Alpala.

That’s why I think MIN short term takeover will be 75p, Max £1. Best case £1.25.

If they let us carry on, we will be hovering around 60p on the re-rate and up to 90p on the DFS in March 2021.

Depends on volume if we have really broken out or if just a false dawn. If we have really broken out, 30p is the next stop. If not, it could fall back to 21p.

ntbb, yes people seem to forget that there are a lot more assets than just Alpala and Ecuador. Makes one wonder how this can remain so cheap for so long? With the calibre of some of the major shareholders here, they know what the assets are truly worth, and I doubt they will relinquish their holdings for small change.

Indeed I'm banking on it, those big holders know this is a jewel that would flatter any mining barons crown, they won't let it be stolen, unless they are themselves one of the thieves.

i fink the last one could see cgp bought out for xx which solg then match but dont match they just look like they match it and then they get $150m+ for not matchin it and that job done innit

$150m gets you 15% stake at the table

that price it rougly at $1bln worth nows on equity so share price gotta go to 45p again
