These giant companies are staffed by careerists, who perhaps follow a similar methodology, and I'm guessing they will want incontrovertible proofs of the metal held by Solg, and the security of a bankable feasibility study, then a 'punt' becomes a justifiable investment. So the waiting goes on, but with cash by now running short there will no doubt be some arm twisting going on by any interested parties. I trust that NM is a better negotiator than Treason May.

I think if anything, BHP will increase their stake in Solgold to 20%.

Well, this crazy valuation will not last much longer I feel. This should not be sitting sub 30p, never mind sub 20p.

This is definitely being manipulated in my view, either way they are too cheap, it would be crazy to sell now even if there is a share issue !!!

The 3 price targets are 60p, 70p & 116p and all three are Buys.

It's not very long ago (6 months?) they were boasting of having $60 million in the bank, that has mostly vanished although apart for wages for 700? people I can't see where it's gone. I hope they find some other means of raising money other than equity. How much do they need to get past the bankable feasibility study? Presumably after that they can get debt finance?

mknight, greed is the usual reason for manipulation. NM needs to get ahead of the programme with that bankable feasibility study, with Bank funding in place it's a goer. Then we might see the various players show their hands, and perhaps one or two more come out of the woodwork? At the moment we know the level of spending is going to see the cash run out, we need to see how that is going to be fixed. The market it would seem, thinks there's going to be an avalanche of equity.
