22/10/2019 11:31 | For a government so say desperate for foreign income, they don't seem too interested in picking up the phone and saying "get on with it", the paperwork will follow as soon as we've kicked a few bottoms! | ![]() lefrene

22/10/2019 10:12 | The trading patterns don't indicate any of the major players are changing their positions. The sudden spike in price last week could only have been in expectation of an RNS. As this has not materialised, the price is retracing. We can only speculate on what the expected news was. However, the excellent research by POB might suggest it to be the mining licenses. From the sound of things, any announcement on that front is likely to be next week. Personally, I believe SOLG are likely to make an announcement on interim financing alongside the licenses. If so, I would expect a price range of 25-30p, at least for a short period. | ![]() lowtrawler
22/10/2019 10:11 | From a chartist point of view back to circa 16p is lower support .. 23p now seems like resistance | ![]() banksy
22/10/2019 09:24 | Of course it might not be how much is sold but who is selling. This recent false dawn hides the fact that the stock has recently dropped on very small early morning sells. I am assuming the market makers know if a large institution is selling - and I don't know if that is the case here. | shabadi
22/10/2019 08:56 | And buy some more at this price while you can * Sorry MamFach, stole your line | ![]() mikalan

22/10/2019 08:48 | A review of recent conflict of interest for $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador SolGold "...Given the government’s financial straits, President Moreno is unlikely to do anything to restrict mining...... mining looks like Ecuador’s best chance. “I haven’t really got off the phone to investors for the past two weeks,” said Anna Legge, SolGold’s Director of Communications. For now, while some retail investors have sold up, most institutional investors are sitting tight. “It takes them longer to become comfortable with a country but once they’re in, they invested for the long term…they understand that this is an emerging market and this is just a bump in the road,” Legge said. | ![]() pob69
22/10/2019 08:38 | 350k hares at 20p is £70 thousand pounds. 6% of market cap is 24 million pounds. Farcical when you look at it in those terms..... | ![]() francoismyname

21/10/2019 19:59 | Thanks to all for the positive feedback but as always its a case of DYOR! Of interest for $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador SolGold from 20/10 La Hora Loja (cannot get the link to work). You would expect the new boss of Senagua will support/accelerate this process - the minister expects "....comes true this coming week". "...Mining map is ready, but still can't be published The publication of the mining map, which was offered for August 31 and then for September, is still pending because a ministerial agreement is not signed to endorse the results, explained the Minister of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources, Carlos Pérez. “The mining map is ready. What is missing is that the agreement between the Ministry of Energy, Environment and Senagua be signed. Without this requirement it cannot be made public. I hope everything comes true this coming week. ” Carlos Centeno, a mining engineer, said that with the map and the clearance of the mining cadastre there will be a clear horizon of how far, and in what areas the mineral exploitation activity can grow. During the process, 27 concessions were identified that had some overlap with protected areas. These permits had to be modified and reduced, to comply with current regulations. Conversion Reversal Pérez announced that the review of the mining cadastre, which includes all concessions granted by the State, has a 75% progress. In August alone, 21 concessions for proven breaches were reversed. By decision of the president, Lenín Moreno, the mining cadastre is closed, which means that no more areas will be awarded." | ![]() pob69
21/10/2019 19:01 | They badly wanted this down today Every large sell signalled a move down but reciprocal large buys did little to the price. I’ve come to see the share price as a plaything for the spivvs at the moment | ![]() francoismyname
