01/9/2019 11:37 | Interesting article from a couple of weeks ago that I had missed $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador Governor of Bolivar and authorities of the province, met the mining management responsible for SolGold ",,,,For his part, the Governor of Bolivar referred to the importance of promoting community development, through responsible mining management that integrates areas such as health, education and the environment. In addition, he highlighted the latent difference between legal mining, highlighting the positive aspects and benefits for the social area that it brings, compared to the illegal one, which leads to environmental devastation, trafficking in persons, drug trafficking, among others." | ![]() pob69
31/8/2019 12:12 | Ntbb They are company options for the directors and employees. | ![]() mknight
31/8/2019 10:27 | What's stopping BHP or new Crest taking these options at 60p? | ![]() ntbb
31/8/2019 07:22 | Lurker 5 All agreed A pay back of under 4 years of a 60 year mine life does not come around that often. Interest rates are still at historic lows so its a góod time to be in Solgold . I am pretty sure NM Would like those 60p óptions as soon as possible . I Would think by Q2 next year they will be in his pocket . And in between time we know the large miners are extemly Cash Rich. My favorite Would be Río Tinto , not in Gold at presant and there might be a few a little upset about that at the moment . | ![]() mknight
30/8/2019 20:11 | A PEA is not very accurate. Even a DFS (which bankers won't accept as accurate enough) is 'said' to be only +- 10-15% accurate. But given the increasing size of the deposit, maybe the Dec PFS will be more encouraging. Meanwhile we can look forward to an increasing 'resource'. But we're still a long way from knowing whether Alpala will be developed. I've always said (since 2015) SOLG is going to be a very long haul. But anyone estimating a value acc to 'resource in the ground' is going to be way off reality. eg going by the Alpala PEA's NPV (a very crude measure) the (discounted over 55 yrs !! - but that's how long you'd have to wait for the full payback) ) profit per copper equivalent tonne in the ground is only $292 - a long way below the $7,268 copper price assumed. ie a realistic 'value' to put on metal in the ground is only 4% of the 'in ground' value (for an ;easy' project like Alpala). Even at the height of the last mining boom in 2011, easy to mine gold deposits in Africa were being valued in deals at only 3% of the 'in-ground' value. One last thing to remember is that a whole 'resource' can never be mined (economically). In the Alpala PEA, only 66% of the 15.4Mt Cu 'equivalent' resource is planned to be extracted (ie equivalent to a 'reserve', which is the more accurate figure to go on when available in a DFS) | ![]() lurker5
30/8/2019 18:27 | Lurker5 Thanks for your info . I guess alot depends on the next MRE3. NM said he expected a 20 percent increase but as we donot have many results its difficult to make a góod guess . | ![]() mknight
30/8/2019 17:53 | Gold price is 15 percent increase | ![]() mknight
30/8/2019 17:52 | We should have a copper chart as well | ![]() ntbb
30/8/2019 17:26 | Noccer. The PEA shows gold for LOM (55 yrs) accounts for 21% of total revenue (at $1,300/oz and $7,250/tonne Cu) A 10% increase in Au price produces 7% more NPV. But a 20% lower copper price (as now v the PEA assumption) produces a 34% fall. Having said that, the PEA is poor in detail and while showing practically all the profit accrues in the first 20-25 years (falling off to break-even for the rest of the life) it doesn't show what the gold/copper split is in the early years. Its the cash profit in the early years that will prompt the majors to buy or help to fund / or not ! | ![]() lurker5

30/8/2019 14:45 | Surprised it's only gone up 2p with all this buying. | ![]() mam fach
30/8/2019 14:04 | OK - did my own sums - from PEA produced concentrate will have 28.2%Cu and 22.1g/t gold. I make that USD 1613 of copper and USD 1083 of gold. So copper value still way ahead of gold value in Alpala. | ![]() noccer |
