mknight, it would very likely make for a much easier deal with a predator if Solg owned Cascabel 100%, hence the effort to woo CGP holders. The difficulty would seem to be big ego's muddying the waters. We have yet to see NM wheel out the big guns in his pursuit of CGP holders, but given the excitement of that politician one can guess that something good is not too far away.

It's a game of chess and I certainly hope NM is better at it than one Mr Rees-Mogg!

The price back in September 2018 was low twenties. It is now high thirties, pushing 100% more. Not a bad return over the period.

We all want instant results, but the story is still the same, in fact it's getting better. Millions of tons of gold and copper and more and more being found all the time. Possible takes overs, of others and of ourselves.

Directors with millions of share options at 60p. They are going to want to exercise those options and make a profit.

Our time will come...

Correct the wise ones sold out at 41.5, with no news looking like 37p again, dont understand why bring all that news out last week, building up ahead of steam, and then stop, they have news to release, but NM has lost the plot, said it before and i will say it again, he needs to step down, and get someone in that will increase the SP, and sell the company.

It seems NM just wants cornerstone at all costs . I think most shareholders want news on the company good or bad when it is due .

I thought he had a plan but for the life of me cannot understand why he puts out 3 regional updates in 3 days and then stops . Why not put them out every 3 or 4 days to keep things ticking along . it also upsets me that we have been told by RNS and by email the PEA is just a short delay which at tops means a few weeks .. we are now at
7 and counting ... tell the truth and we are all happy .

I am not a trader and have not sold a single share but will off load a few on the next rise if i am still in profit .

Plenty of good news to come, we already know this is much larger than just Cascabel, and quite possibly richer if that politico's excitement is anything to go by. The price move suggests that the 2.2 million trade was a sell?

yes and looks like they have tucked away the vice ministers comments in the quarterly MDA by saying they are very excited about some new drilling bla bla bla .

I hope the cornerstone takeover get finished asap as NM is playing with us .

I suppose if anyone had the inclination they could see how many companies actually possess drilling permits and chose the one most likely to have found enormous quantities of copper.

alwaysevolving, I might be wrong but I think there is an agreement blocking either of those two big holders buying CGP's holding. Plainly that politician had been told something which had got him excited, so whatever it is will come out in due course. NM one trusts has a strategy to win over CGP holders, we have a ringside seat as it plays out. "10 t0 20 times current value" is what NM said about a year or so ago, the politico's accidental sound from behind the scenery make one hopeful the curtain will soon be raised.

Cornerstone may well end up selling their holding to the highest bidder which could very well be Newcrest or BHP simply to spite NM? I really do think SOLG are fighting a loosing battle thinking they are going to get the Cornerstone slice easily or anytime soon.
