28/9/2018 10:39 | Mam Fach, remember that NM also thinks the company is “Terrifyingly undervalued”.. | ![]() alwaysevolving
28/9/2018 10:38 | With the number of employees at the sites, I am amazed that this company isn't more leaky. Compared to oil stocks, they are doing a terrific job. But as you say mamfach they cant afford to be anything but squeaky clean. | ![]() jerryspaniel
28/9/2018 10:24 | As with all companies you take your lead from CEO. Have said before NM not put a foot wrong and I do have confidence. But as soon as company is caught out in an 'untruth' i'm out. | ![]() mam fach
28/9/2018 10:18 | I see a risk that a very strong result in Hole 64 could support the idea that Trevino and Alpala are part of the same ore body at depth and will lead to an extended drill program and slippage on the rest of the program (e.g. PEA). So resource goes up, but cash burn extends. What I was hoping for by end of year was the rigs to be finding the edges and then to go out to other prospects - drilling done, but seems we are not there yet. So after all this time to strike a high grade at Alpala/Trevino is a mixed blessing at best. But lets see what the assays say about grade and depth. To me these guys are still exploration geologists and there is nothing they like more than finding stuff - they should in due course let someone else develop it, but in a way that allows then to find more stuff - I think thats what gets these geologists out of bed in the morning. So I agree, sell all or large chunk of ENSA, and cash rich SOLG can then rinse and repeat at other propspects. | ![]() noccer
28/9/2018 09:59 | Nearly 42myn share options that are in the money will expire next month. So some selling will be inevitable. Maybe what BHP is waiting for? As to our Canadian friend, there are so many companies in resources or pharma that don't make a profit or produce anything, that are valued in billions. Its future income stream that counts, not current. mamfach, I hear you. But we are taking our confidence from NM and the drilling results. I have always thought this is a 2-5yr view and we have had 1 of those. I am fairly patient but there are some things that the company could do better. | ![]() jerryspaniel
28/9/2018 09:37 | All LTHs have been talking about value of £££ Not seen it reflected in price. Begining to doubt if our confidence is misplaced. No recent RNSs have lifted price significantly except purchase by BHP. It's a war of atrition . | ![]() mam fach
28/9/2018 09:28 | My current view as to the future for $SOLG.L $SOLG #ecuador is summarised by page 17 of the TSX Annual Information form posted today; "SolGold has experience at both the operational management and the Board level to define and develop mineral resources from discovery through to feasibility and development." This focus hasn't changed over the years even with all the Alpala drilling success. Recall Solgold is a resource generator not an operator - that is what they know and were set up to deliver. Everything around Cascabel is a negotiating tactic to increase corporate value with an ENSA takeout. | ![]() pob69
28/9/2018 09:13 | My one concern at the moment is that the share price is way too low for the opportunity. This will (and has) attracted the industry. Without some significant buying by the instos this share price wont get to a 'fair' level before someone makes an offer that cant be refused. At the moment that could be as low as 80p, when the value could be double, or possibly even more (hole 64). NM needs to get to London and do a round of presentations to build up the long term, s/holder base. Otherwise we risk possibly my biggest opportunity in 40 years been taken away from me at less than half price. Obviously all IMHO!! | ![]() jerryspaniel
28/9/2018 09:12 | Everyone's opinion welcome her. Majority of us hold bcause we think company is undervalued. | ![]() mam fach
28/9/2018 09:08 | Be careful with thinking the share price will rocket,at the moment solg is overvalued at £500 million with no production. | ![]() the canadian mounted
28/9/2018 09:02 | Can't agree with you. This is going to be far too big for SOLG to go it alone. Whatever happens it's going to be good for share price. | ![]() mam fach
28/9/2018 08:47 | It's my view that NM is positioning himself to be able to go to the Banks and borrow the capital to start mining. Any predator will have to take NM seriously to overcome the 'independence' barrier. I presume NM is already lining Banks up for when the PEA is delivered? Good to see the cash burn is under strict control. | ![]() lefrene

28/9/2018 08:23 | Here's some comments by Jason Ward, Exploration Manger in the annual report $SOLG.L $SOLG $CGP #ecuador "...came up with over 100 areas in Ecuador. Of these we currently hold 72 and are awaiting granting of some others. In our first year we have identified ten high priority targets and already we have identified drill targets at five of these and applied for permits. We will make further discoveries in Ecuador.” | ![]() pob69
28/9/2018 08:09 | Love the CEO Q&A section in the annual report $SOLG.L $SOLG $CGP #ecuador Q: Does the arrival of BHP into the register concern you? A: No, they’re very welcome. We are obviously happy to have Alpala, Ecuador, the copper market and our management team endorsed by BHP buying 6%. I’m assuming that’s just for starters. Q: How do you respond to those who say SolGold is too small to fund a project the size of Cascabel, let alone your significant portfolio across Ecuador? A: High copper and gold grades at Alpala deliver independence. Q: SolGold is in a very unique position in the market, do you view this as a challenge or opportunity? A: Independence is the challenge. Diversity is the opportunity. Our unique position is both a challenge and an opportunity. Our challenge is to provide the necessary funding to see Aplala progress toward development and the opportunity is to create an integrated pipeline of exploration, development and mining projects largely 100% owned under the SolGold roof. This will present SolGold’s shareholders with a unique opportunity to take part in ownership of one of the world’s largest emerging copper gold porphyry explorers, developers and miners. | ![]() pob69
28/9/2018 08:05 | Sounds good to me With a significant update on the maiden resource expected in Q4 2018, an independent Preliminary Economic Assessment set for release in Q1 2019, and the ongoing development of our 10 priority regional projects, the next year is set to be exciting for SolGold and its stakeholders." | ![]() arcadian
28/9/2018 07:55 | Couple of tweets from Willem Middelkoop of Commodities Discovery Fund (long Solgold) following recent Full Year Report RNS $SOLG.L $SOLG $CGP #ecuador "...Hole 64 might turn out to be the game changer for #SolGold (the core of the system?, very high grade, step out, BHP, getting very very interesting)" "..Watch out for HOLE 64 (assays pending). New high grade core discovered in a wide step out (NW-Trivino area), reaching depth of over 2000m now. Could grow this copper-gold discovery in a monster (Grasberg/Pebble size min. 25m oz/au, 50mt/cu)" | ![]() pob69

27/9/2018 18:52 | Patience jerry. Releasing the value embedded in a mining stock of this nature takes time and confidence of evidence. BHP's arrival on the scene suggests we're not far from value release though these things take time, months. More drilling, drilling and more drilling helps to build up the evidence to confirm Mather's assertions and verify his confident statements. BHP knows what SOLG's found in Ecuador and they're desperate. When they do make their move this may flush out other buyers (Rio, Anglo-A, Vale, Sumitomo or the Chinese?) - a bun fight would be most welcome The figure that caught my eye was the '20% of the world's copper resource' '...that's a pretty eye catching statement to make from Mather | ![]() mirabeau
27/9/2018 18:46 | It was a very bullish presentation (far more so than Fridays) but these and the stock exchange releases don't seem to be having the effect that he expects. I accept that share price is up a lot this month, but he clearly thinks it should be more. He seems to have PI support and acceptance by the industry that he is on to something (2 s/holders and others have come in to the region). That only really leaves the instos. So why are they not fans? Is it (and I have no idea) because they only have a standard listing? Has London lost its reputation for supporting embryonic mining stocks? If someone is connected with any potential insto, we would love to hear why they aren't playing. | ![]() jerryspaniel |
