RP -Thank you for those kind words. They don't come often to one who's known for treading on toes. (Probably enjoys doing it))

I am so glad that you are on the payroll. I did think that if you would be kind enough to send me your bank account number, sort code and security number I would arrange for your first salary payment- with a bonus for diligence and community work but I have been advised against this so that this BB will just have to show its appreciation in some other way. For now a thank you from all of us will have to suffice.

DD maybe in the short term but long term would give him time to unlock the true value of their land holdings . A takeover now you believe we would get 50p at best .

Now we know we can drill 3 priority sites .

I'm talking those on here hoping for one ! NM might use more streaming to up the dose on his poison pill of course, But the poison would also affect his shareholders.

DD NM has never stated he wanted a takeover . Most P.I,s would like it as its a quick profit . In the last webinar with the minister of mining he was very clear that he wanted to be the next BHP of Ecuador .

These quarterly reports are the most interesting documents we have as they go into more "colour" than RNS feeds or Annual Report etc and are worth reading - you have invested your money long/short in this company so you cannot afford not to!

Interesting to see that Ingo Hofmaier suggested on Linkedin that the 2 main messages from the quarterly disclosure were the covid (where authorities asked for Solgold support) and recruitment issues:

Worth noting we have a new HR Manager - interesting timing.

Nadine Dennison has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer. Nadine brings extensive professional experience from the UK and Australia to SolGold, having held executive level roles in major oil and gas and mining organisations across several commodities. Before joining SolGold, Nadine worked for several years with BHP, in her last role as Head of Human Resources Business Partnership for its coal division, and in a similar role in iron ore previously. (....With a workforce portfolio of 13,500 fte!)

Official confirmation as to the 3 drill permits: "SolGold received all regulatory licencing approvals to begin scout drilling at the Porvenir, Blanca and La Hueca projects". Field camps have been established - so ready to go! There is plenty of material presented on all the concessions.

Recent interviews have focussed on Alpala community engangement. The Social Baseline Study 2020 was completed in this quarterand the report details some of these vital activities - the section is worth looking at - "to develop trusting relationships with new and former community leaders."

Only 1 reference to Aguinaga: "Aside from Alpala and Aguinaga, the Cascabel concession has defined several other untested targets, namely: Trivinio,
Moran, Cristal, Tandayama-America and Chinambicito. It is anticipated that some of these will be drill tested in due course." - used to be "when resources allow/flagged for drill testing"...

DozyThe rampers are just desperate and don't understand business, like most PIs on these boards. That's why 90 percent of them will lose money, they just don't like to hear that. They are also pretty over leveraged judging from their posts.I have seen it many times posters gambling their life savings hoping for that big oil strike or gold strike, it is like trying to pick the lottery numbers.I do have to say though Mknight does sound the most desperate, last Friday he was saying 25p is the new 10p, and then sold out on the poor funding news. He has now read a couple of rampy posts I go has emailed it's all good and he is back in ramping away......you couldnt make it up but they do daily......

The more there is talk of resorting to streaming or similar, the more it will look desperate. Its astonishing that anyone in the company should think streaming up to $1bn would be a good deal. It would be usurious and certainly block any bid.

So from the MD&A I read it as if talks with smelters and traders are still ongoing for the $1.7-2.7bn and those are the ones where traders are willing to pay the full costs and are ‘materially217; better than the PEA NPV.

This news can’t be far away. Maybe a week or 2.

NM does not want to raise money through equities yet because the price is too low .

So how does he get the share price up because without news it probably wont go up .

1. Finance.. streaming or royality type deals

2. Permits

3. Raise with equity at a price higher than our current price . Example 40p with Barrick .

4. Drilling .. needs finace first .

5. Monthly Webinars .. certainly if they are good then they can keep the shareholders up to date with the latest goings on .

6. Takeover talk .

Anybody got any other ideas .

Cost cutting build a smelter betwéen Alpala and Río
Amarillo .. is Franco thinking along those lines

When readers don't fall for all their spin they don't like it, they like it even less when they are wrong and I have been proved right. The funding announcement was going to take the share price into the 40s however it was patently obvious it was more hot air and not worth the cost of issuing the rns hence the fall back below the pre announce the price.Things are going to get tricky for solg going forward and they had all pinned their hopes in a bidding war, why would anyone start a bidding war in the current environment and elections 9 months away........

NM has on many occasions said that he intends to take Solgold to production and yet we constantly see wild unfounded speculation about NM hoping to jack up the share price so that he can cash in his chips asap. Just to remind everyone, NM will decide nothing, the BOD will decide the future of Solgold, NM is a member of that BOD and has one vote, the same as all the other members of the board.

RP - a rather foolish opinion. So you want to put the blinkers on yourself do you ? Don't you want to know what other opinions than yours might be influencing your investment ? Or are you so all-knowing as to which opinions will do that, and which won't ? Investing in shares is all about pitting your opinion against others' - in which case its just as well to know theirs - don't you think ? - Or don't you think !

A bearish article on Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #cascabel #ecuador

To eventually get copper and gold flowing out of Alpala, SolGold’s chief executive Nick Mather will have to climb not only the physical mountain but a metaphorical one too.

Many thanks for the Mining news Article.

To me various combinations of funding by BHP and Newcrest must have been offered, including partnerships and takeover. One problem NM has is the Options for Directors and STAFF @60p. How much have BHP and Newcrest offered to start with....NM will be holding on to get it up to at least 80p as final offer.....IMHO

OK Nasdaq...you're a destructive fool and you add nothing to this board...you have no position and you are somehow deluded into thinking your constant stream of negativity is valued by the readers here...

So I'm adding myself to the long list of those who have you filtered...

Enjoy talking to yourself.
