07/5/2020 09:51 | phattrader1, unhappily I have had a similar experience, and realised that I had allowed myself to be taken in by the 'noise' in front, rather than looking closely enough into the background of the industry as well as the particular company. With Solg they too have been guilty of 'noise', but the fundamentals of supply in metals is shifting, and despite whatever manipulation in metals markets might take place, in due course the shortening of supply of copper in the real world will make itself felt, the gold in Solg is a bonus. The 'noise' at the moment is the proximity of a finance deal, I have no way of knowing how real that might be, but all the positives surrounding Alpala are so compelling that somebody will want to exploit it, at which point the true value will be arrived at. | lefrene
07/5/2020 09:44 | Nas daq You will be gone soon ....... The mine is so big it will change Ecuador for ever . | mknight
07/5/2020 09:42 | You still show up here lol? You were rumbled ages ago.My "friend" blah blah. Jog on sunshine. | greenelf
07/5/2020 09:40 | Traded Aim is to put it politely 😅😅 It was chasing spikes that killed it. Interesting - given they have. A history of delays this was to be expected. If one was going just off management I wouldn’t invest in solg, but I’m going off NM’s interests being aligned with shareholders’ and the stuff in the ground. | phattrader1
07/5/2020 09:37 | Phat, just follow your own advice from post 21928. " Possibility of staying on track of the 2 week deadline? If they delay I will not believe them anymore". | lowtrawler
07/5/2020 09:35 | PhatttaderYou didn't trade aim you gambled, there is a reason it's called the aim casino. The ramping here over the past few weeks has been hilarious but it has inflated then share price so its all good, however what goes up on hot air invariably comes down harder. If you all believe NMs PR BS about everyone jumping into Ecuador fantastic, actions speak louder than BS and I haven't seen any funding despite what posters like mknight write. They need 150m quickly, non binding off take rns aren't going to raise anything.NM is going to have to do a placing and institutions arent going to pay silly amounts when they dont need to.As for the comment solgold will be to Ecuador what BHP did to Australia, Alasdair Campbell would be proud of that BS. | nas_daq
07/5/2020 09:13 | 10 years ago I lost £195k trading AIM. Every stock I bought went to sht. 10 years later my strategy has made all these back and more. I studied from the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management (a good company) and now I’m back killing the markets. SOLG is now due a leg up. The charts and indicators are all behind us. But more importantly the macro fundamentals. Next 6 months will be crazy for Gold and Silver. Buy, top up, hold. This is gonna be a 300-700% from here within 12-18 months. | phattrader1
07/5/2020 09:11 | DD answer FSA ..give your opinion . | mknight
07/5/2020 09:03 | FSA since you've failed to hoist in (along with much else) that a streaming deal is unrelated to any share price, there's little point trying to enlighten you more. | dozyduck
07/5/2020 08:23 | DozyDuck, You'v failed to deliver the basic overview which is how is the $150m coming? Cb's or other finance. Go on take a stab. Your avoidance to do so is beginning to make you look a bit clueless | fsawatcher
07/5/2020 08:22 | I think all us SOLG Bulls should take the day off from posting. Anger and embarrassment abound. Leave the Bears to have their moment. | lowtrawler
07/5/2020 08:18 | Read back on what I've said here. Mr Phat. | dozyduck
07/5/2020 08:07 | DD - you know nothing about copper. It’s clear if you’re using today’s prices. You’re aware the world copper supply will falter in 2022 and demand will rise a lot? And that prices are cyclical. Dozy research there son. | phattrader1
07/5/2020 07:44 | NM's reliance on puffing the NPV is almost certainly due to his believing the brokers' NPV's, and that they'll have anything to do with pricing the shares. Same mistake made by every other miner I've known wanting to raise funds. By the way, my calcs of the NPV NOW (at current CU/AU price is only $2bn. Financiers are going to have to believe that CU will get back above $3/lb before they'll stump up. | dozyduck
07/5/2020 07:39 | 🤣 if that makes you happy ND If he’s trying to bolster the share price isn’t that what we want as well? Does he own 90m shares or is that a made up fantasy too. | phattrader1
07/5/2020 07:29 | Any chance you can stick to facts rather than fantasy..... So when the news doesnt materialise as you expect it to, you just make it up anyway. To me its obvious he is struggling to raise funds, everyone else on here apart from DD is too emotionally involved to see what is going on and sees every ray of light NM or Hoffmaier throw out as the holy grail. Comments like financiers are throwing money at us and the market doesn’t understand how big this is ........are just desperate PR stunts to hold the price up | nas_daq
07/5/2020 07:27 | One thinks this could only mean one thing... They will announce it as part of a $2.85bn package. | phattrader1
07/5/2020 07:24 | So its a case of we have got the money but we are not going to tell you . | mknight
06/5/2020 22:39 | Some like to work forever maybe he wants to continue . However he must show the money tomorrow am .. he cant say we have the money with the world watching and then not produce . How bad would that look . | mknight
06/5/2020 22:31 | Also 10 days until NM’s 5 year anniversary as CEO of SOLG. Does he want a takeover or does he genuinely want to go it alone? This is his pension pot. If I was him I would sell and settle for my $100m payday. | phattrader1
06/5/2020 21:39 | Phattrader1 hmmm | mknight
06/5/2020 21:22 | Funding news should be tomorrow. Fingers crossed for $150m raised at 60p plus $2.7bn conditional on permits and convertible bonds at 80p. | phattrader1
06/5/2020 21:11 | Jus imagine if NM gets $150m off Barrick at 45p a share Citi were looking for a defense against low ball make it a threesome babay one at each end and one in middle, ecuador gov be lovin that fudge fest with bhp, newcrest and Barrick ha haaha | fsawatcher
06/5/2020 19:28 | He needs the permits to get on with drilling .. He has the money but can he drill Río Amarillo . Without it he cannot defend a takeover from BHP imho He has 6 months to throw in the rigs and find another Alpala .. The clocks ticking . You can see from NM that he knows what he has got and does not want to give it away ..Many have said he wants to be taken out but i just dont see it . | mknight |
