2040 .... bloody hell give it a rest .

Inferred to Indicated

It seems Mre3 will show only a minor increase so
Lets not expect fireworks when it is released soon.

Interesting to read a report saying that within 20 years the sale of new combustion engine driven cars will vanish to be completely replaced by EV's.

If this turns out to be the case then by as soon as 2040, these EV's will need around an extra 5mln tons of Copper per year compared to their combustion engine driven counterparts.

Meanwhile the quoted price for March Copper is $2.85 which should help.

Loganair.

I am sure you are right. If you are and out share price falls then we will be sold cheaply which will not help you .

It seems to me so many posters on this thread are only thinking very short term, in weeks, maybe a few months ahead when it comes to Solgold instead of 5 to 10 years as BHP, Newcrest and Solgold them selves are thinking in terms of decades.

Reading the latest on China who are wanting to build 5 mega sized Smart city clusters, these are large cities that have satellite cities. Each of the 5 smart city clusters will have a population of around 120mln and will be geared for fully autonomous electric vehicles etc.

These Smart cities are going to need millions upon millions of tons of Copper each.

I also think the tipping point from combustion engine driven vehicles to EV light vehicles while come between 2025 and 2030 - Soldgold's Alapla mine is due to come into operation in 2025 just at the right time.

In the meantime we look set to benefit from weaker Sterling if and when The BoE lowers interest rates.

Great results will no doubt come but after Cornestone and funding.

Would be a good idea for NM to inform the market why the delay . Something like due to the larger than imagined size we are having to delay .

We were promised great results by NM.
Nothing has materialised. Big disappointment.

With BHP apparently sharing number crunchers with Solg, we might see resource updates coincide with a BFS? Also getting figures out would confront CGP with the size of their 15% contribution to Cascabel, although I suspect that by now all parties have a pretty good idea of what the costs will be to get Cascabel up and running. It is plain that the news blackout will continue until CGP have been taken care of.

Looks like MRE3 could have been put back until Q2 2020 according to the November 2019 presentación. The PFS is now due to come out before Mre3 .

All very strange .

It makes sense and would justify the news blackout . It would also mean some of the other sites are showing amazing upside.

About £60 million then, plus presumably a premium above current price. I'm hoping we get a deal over CGP and then a flood of positive news. It's heartening that BHP put in the extra $22 million, presumably they see decent upside in this drawn out poker game.

I thought it was more based on 49 million shares at C$3 a share? But have yet to find a site that lists the market cap. C$ about 1.80 to the £

He'd need about £100 million in his back pocket to do that, although in funding talks the extra cash might be made available just to get rid of this thorn in the side of the enterprise. Something has to happen before too long, that $22 million from BHP at the last raise isn't going to keep the wheels turning for more than a few months.

Its cossed my mind that if funded NM might just buy Cornestone with cash .He is one of the few that knows exactly what we have got not only at Alpala but at B and Nieve and the rest of the regionales. Why offer shares ..

mknight, the lack of news is the elephant in the room, I don't believe things have come to a standstill in the jungle with over 600 employees on the books. I can only presume that the purpose of a news blackout is to keep Cornerstone in the dark, but I doubt it would take very long to pick up local gossip if you sent a couple of spies to Solg sites. 1. CGP sorted, 2. mre3, and 3. BFS+funding. The movers and shakers are probably still on the ski slopes, so another week or two to go, but the CGP price moving up suggests that something is in the offing.

I was hunting on TSX looking for the market cap of Cornerstone but couldn't see it. I believe there's 49 million shares in issue, which is about £90 million. I can't see why CGP has risen 50% over the past few weeks unless insiders think there might be some kind of deal in the offing? It does feel that CGP is the blocker to progress with Solg.
