Can anyone tell us what Mather's remuneration package is for current financial year? I know he got $600k plus $3million in bonus shares from being CEO of SOLG in the last two years. Haven't been able to locate current package for comparison.

BHP and NC are probably behind the skullduggery.

Makes sense for them to keep price down in conjunction with MM’s so as to have to not pay any premium in a placing.

Very illegal if it’s true and a good independent reporter could make a prize scoop .

Don’t anyone say these majors are squeaky clean

I Would imagine it is possible to Sell 1 million shares at an average of 21.50p and buy 1.2million back at an average of 21 p .

It seems to me if there are more sellers on the book than buyers it Would be quite Easy to push the share price down and buy more back than sold each day at a cheaper price .

If they pick the right stock then they can make a fortune .

Throw in a few jimmytass and garys to cause a bit of doubt and bingo the price moves down each day and their holdings grow. I Would imagine they close their book each day .

I know broker estimates can be taken with a pinch of salt but CAD $1.50 is approx 90 pence.

What Would BHP or Newcrest have to pay for Alpala fully funded.

I would think that unrest in Chile is perhaps causing end users to begin stockpiling in case the unrest continues for a long time? Perhaps a practice run for when the almost mythological, long hailed, coming shortage of copper finally heaves into view.

Copper now at 2.695 seems to be rising steadily and make everyone think about future demand /supply issues so SOLG will always be on the radar..

380m is nothing to BHP and Newcrest. Why would they hold out for a few million?

It looks all day long on the charts that 16p will be tested again, whether it holds this time, is another matter, but will newcrest happy with there holding in solgold, and with no plans to increase there stake, not looking too good, funding issue whether BHP and newcrest just wait for solgold to run out of money, and have to mothball this project, could pick it up for nothing in z couple of years.

Not a chance in a million years will the placing be at 45p, BHP owe it to the shareholders to give value for money, why would they pay 45p, when the share price is 20p, placing and if they can get one away, 20-25p the mist they can hope for, BHP is not a charity it has its own shareholders to look after first.
