I think 507 was referring to institutional buyers, not PI's

First paragraph agreed .

Institutions are looking all the time they do not just buy stocks with dividends
and there are alot of them . Why start buying now and not before .. Maybe they are
changing sectors moving out of Tech and into mining for example there are many reasons
they move in and out of Stocks it could be one of ours are adding to their holding .
As i said before maybe it is a private individual who has a large amount of money and likes the stock .

What we should be asking ourselves is why are we not buying more and not be surprised when someone else is ..

Why sell now . again maybe a fund bought at 21p and wants out .. maybe Cornerstone does not want our share to go up maybe someone is looking to buy as and wants the share price steady .

all i was saying is this stock IMHO is a great buy even more when you can buy millions by the look of it at 37p ..

Not hard for them if they want to get hold of a mega tier 1 asset 507.

I think you are way off the mark here.

QUestion you need to ask yourself is at what point is there going to be more demand to buy than more supply to sell. At the moment there are more shares being sold than are being bought so the price cant move up. UNtil those that wish to offload have managed to it will be very difficult for us to move much. 35-38.5 range

INstitutionl holders have had plenty of opprtunity to pick up shares at 35.5-37p of late. Hasn't been too much trouble for them if they wanted them. Why dont they? INstitutions are limited in terms of who they can buy shares in. SOLG pays no dividends adn earns no revenue so hard one to have a large position in.

Mark Bristow CEO of Barrick Gold just interviewed on Bloomberg. Will Be actively looking for Tier1/Tier2 gold/copper assets that “fit their criteria”

It would put an interesting new aspect on proceedings if the largest Gold Corp in the world were to step into the fray would it not? Not saying they will of course but an interesting thought none the less given all the consolidation going on in the space right now?

Seriously, does anyone think someone wants to sell Solg shares ?
Can't see it myself.

Its not fantasy.

If an institution or any large buyer can pick them up at 37p then it is more like christmas .

If someone wants to sell at this price then it is better to get them into strong hands that know the value .

MK making his fantasy predicitions again ;). Not a chance in hell we are going anywhere significant today. There is still huge selling pressure on the book

I would find it more flaterring if the interest was in buying rather than people trying to offload a sizeable amount of stock. SOmeone selling down my holdings just annoys me.

agreed-it`s baffling as to who is doing what but it`s also flattering that they should take such trouble.

There is obviously something for some reason worth all the trouble and I find that encouraging.

Over 1million buys 98k sells.
So you reckon significant selling in the background?

37p of no significant on the chart or on the book. Loaded with sells still and more behind the numbers on level 2 as well. A few icebergs it seems

How`s the book looking?

Broken through 37p which might be significant.
Even more significant is that there is more buying.
Been so long that everything that can be said has been said.
Fresh news please- we know it's on the way.

feels like the pressure is building. Surely everything is going to come together and the share price will rip at some point soon.

Private trades as per similar ones when the price was falling although I would like to think that the buys today were by someone who knows more than me and has reason to keep buying.

Someone has been buying decent volume today.

Might see a large UT today.

Not bad , we had a buyer in the market today lets hope he is back tomorrow with a few mates .

As we hover I think it will pay to be patient as the manipulators seem to have a strong grip of the share price that will require some good news. M&A etc to encourage a break out.

Agree with that jerry, though my suspicion is that when it moves, it will be on news and the move will be a big gap up to the 50s. 21 to 26, 35 to 45 have been recent examples. 37 to 52 wouldnt surprise me, one day.
