06/3/2018 13:35 | Perhaps it depends upon how algorithms work? Do they just notice a trade regardless of the size? Or can they be fine tuned to only notice trades above say 1000? Does everyone use the same Algo or do they have bespoke versions? I have always supposed that 'AT' trades are Algo driven except for 'stop losses'. The known overhang must have some effect, it's no secret that there 180 million shares held off market, and I'm sure insiders know to whom they have been contracted. I guess there could be multiple contracts at different levels based upon that impending supply. Thus there will be vested interests trying to work the price to suit their own book, a sort of game of musical chairs. Another 25 days before we see if anything happens when they become openly tradable. It's my view we will be back to at least 25p by then, but what the heck do I know! | lefrene
06/3/2018 13:22 | If the daily selling is related to the overhang shares (which seems probable) then why so many small trades?Anyone got any ideas? | mrpiggy
06/3/2018 11:10 | I see NM giving a talk in Toronto at 10am local time tomorrow. Will that be an rns in the morning? Somehow I doubt it. | lefrene
06/3/2018 09:38 | MrPiggy ... no not mine ... I don't deal in loose change ;o) | onedayrodders
06/3/2018 06:43 | That's an easy one snickerdog... take the shares in issue and multiply them by the SP!Our share price has halved since our heights and they have probably included the private share placement numbers. Hope that's helpful. | mrpiggy
05/3/2018 16:37 | HOw can you say we are in a news blackout Mr PIggy?!!! NOt sure I have ever held a company that reports as often as SOLG do. Have to give them a chance to do some mining! NIce to see a couple fo chunky trades in there. Get some more of those over the coming weeks and I 'll be confident to go in with a decent top up | 5070481
05/3/2018 16:27 | Are those your top up's that just landed ODR? ;@) | mrpiggy
05/3/2018 15:27 | Why has the Solgold market cap come off so much ? | snickerdog
04/3/2018 17:32 | There are plenty of news items in the press about companies chasing after metal resources, Solg won't have gone unnoticed. The scale of the resource is huge, it allows a finance model stretching into decades, whilst the location and favourable infrastructure offers a speedy route to production. This is one for the big boys, let no dirty trick go untried in attempting to wrest this gem from the peasantry for peanuts. | lefrene
04/3/2018 16:46 | Had hoped share price would have doubled not halved from recent highs. Just got to hang on in there. | mam fach
04/3/2018 16:14 | On another BB .... Looks like Citibank China purchased approx. one third of the Private placement on 30th November click on the institutions tab hxxp://investors.mor | onedayrodders
02/3/2018 15:07 | I have some top up money too ... just taking my time | onedayrodders
01/3/2018 17:44 | Thanks ODR/Lefrene!I've been invested in SOLG since about 2014 so I've seen the heights and troughs!!With troughs in mind I'll fill mine with some consolation pig nuts to cheer myself up!! :@) | mrpiggy
01/3/2018 13:56 | It's a war Mrpiggy, nothing happens for ages, people get bored and careless, then unexpectedly all hell breaks out. April will soon arrive, the 180 million shares will have taken sides, weapons currently being sharpened will be deployed. In the meantime all that fun being had drilling holes in a horrible jungle! | lefrene
01/3/2018 13:29 | believe me Mr Piggy .. there are worse out there | onedayrodders
01/3/2018 11:54 | Still in downtrend sadly, this has to be the most frustrating share I have ever held by a mile. We seem to be on a news blackout | mrpiggy
01/3/2018 07:58 | For larger short positions above .5% look at sites such as For stock on loan, giving a reasonable approximation to the overall short position (stock has to be borrowed unless it is naked shorting) sites such as Euroclear | charlieeee
28/2/2018 15:28 | Where do you find information on volume of shorted stock? | harrygas
27/2/2018 16:38 | Don't think they'll keep the lid on this much longer lefrene, we may be on an uptrend by the end of the week!! | mrpiggy
27/2/2018 16:30 | I notice a pair of presumably hired jeremiahs on another site have cranked up their, 'the skies about to fall routine'. Tends to fuel my belief that forces are at work doing what they can to keep the price down. | lefrene
27/2/2018 16:01 | Wonering - chart seems to suggest a double bottom. We could be looking at a bounce up. | cryptotrade
27/2/2018 15:05 | Looking at figure 8 in the 19 Feb RNS suggests that drilling at Tandayama - America could prove very fruitful. It seems to be in line with the Alpala trend. I'd like to see this as a target for drilling later this year. Success here and at Aquinaga should make it possible to start guestimating just how large Cascabel could turn out to be and to put a ballpark value on it. Just read that Friedland's very high grade copper deposit in the DRC could be a 100 year mine at a 1% cut-off. But simply cannot imagine anyone wanting to risk the DRC for a decade let alone a century!Pity as it seems to be a truly spectacular deposit. | pecker1
27/2/2018 13:53 | Good horse dude! | mrpiggy |
