Lurker5 why didn't we jump to 20p at least on the news Monday? This share used to get to 30p in much more uncertain times.

Three quarters of a billion pounds in funding and the market gives us a 1.5p rise.

Just can't win

The saving grace is that, such is the magic of NPV calcs, the current stated $3.2bn NPV (probably $2.9bn after full funding) is as from NOW. In other words in 4 years time, at the 8% discount rate, just before construction starts, it will have increased by 40% to $4bn. (Thats at $1,750/oz and $3.5/lb, provided nothing else has changed - as it probably will with higher costs but higher commodity prices) Its one posible reason why, if the shares stay in the doldrums, predators might find a way to grab them

Rubbish!

It's just that investors saw bargains elsewhere today after Dow's rise.

We are creeping up here bit by bit.

Sadly I expect you are correct cym.

Smart money got out as near to 11p as possible.

This funding was supposed to provoke a bid. It didn't. Now we are stuck in limbo as you say, no risk of running out of cash but definitely no life changing event for investors for years to come.

I was hoping for a bid at best. I was preparing to hit the buffers on Friday at worst. But this middle option just suspends us like a fly trapped in amber. Buried alive as you say... Funding to build a mine but no intention of building a mine.

All dressed up and no place to go

Not treading water dave, splashing around and slowly drowning.

£750million funding and the price rises 1.5p?

Might have secured a future, but its years away. Caught a lot of mugs out, including slug/toast.

When this falls to 9p I might buy a few and start trading this dog. Its going to limp between 8.5p and 10.6p for the next ten years.

£750 million was the entry price to limbo.

LTHs like loganair whop bought in at a much higher price have been buried alive. Buried alive.

Buried alive.

karma hehe

Can anyone tell me how Fastjet the nonce is still allowed to post here?

We all saw what he said about another poster's young daughter.

In Wales we'd cut his nonce-wobblers off.

The dirty nonce.

Poor old fastjet, deluded till the end with Sean living tent free in your head. He must have really mopped the floor with you over in LSE under whatever your name is there.

This is sadly goodbye from me, nice bit of profit, never look back, hope the guys here get a bid to end these doldrums.

As for you, I wish you well mate, I'd like to think you're not a bad sort, you have a sense of humour at least... Just promise me you won't turn up on YiuTube trying to meet a 13 year old girl outside Tesco.

Poor old slug... looking to a decade or more to make up his earlier losses here, angry at us traders who have made a small fortune and now move on to brighter pastures.

For me, crypto (in the run up top Trump's re-election) and huge investments in the asylum-industrial complex as Labour let in 10 million over the next ten years: Serco. asylum hotels, private security, human rights lawyers, house building firms - it's the new gold rush.

Can't see anything happening here for years. LTHs in at over 15p will never see their investment back. Should have jumped in like me and Hazl when this fell to 5.7p

Nearly 100% up here in just a few weeks. Buy when there's blood on the streets. I doubled down and bought more when it looked like all was lost. Huge risk, huge profit. But another 5 years of 9p - 10p -11p is not for me, and I never, ever expected a bid. Hope there is one to put you guys out your misery.

Follow me on Telegram. Sean too. Bitcoin at £50k. Start of a new era under Trump.

Good luck guys.

G

US$750m financing package complements phased development approach; Cascabel further derisked

SolGold (“SOLG”) has secured US$750m in gold stream funding for Cascabel from a syndicate comprising 70% of Franco-Nevada Corp (“FN”) and 30% of Osisko Bermuda Ltd (“Osisko”;). The deal entitles the syndicate to buy ~20% of Cascabel’s gold output, falling to 12% after ~10 years, at an 80% discount to the prevailing spot price. Based on the pre-feasibility study (“PFS”), SOLG estimates a competitive cost of capital of ~9%, while we estimate a pre-tax IRR of ~8.5% at US$2,400/oz Au. The first US$100m of funding should be sufficient to reach a final investment decision (“FID”) within the next ~24 months, eliminating the need for a dilutive equity raise at the current share price. The remaining US$650m would be used to fund construction, contingent on securing the ~US$900m balance of the estimated US$1.55bn upfront capex budget. While still a sizeable sum, with the Exploitation Contract (“EC”) agreed with the Ecuadorean Government in June and updated PFS filed in March, Cascabel is now a lower-risk, more deliverable project, with a wider audience of potential strategic partners or acquirers. Our valuation is maintained at GBp 63/sh.
