The risk was reduced by many of the good people here....voting to keep the CEO in place making the decisions!

Traders maybe davethehorse. Price goes up in a straight line as some do take a profit. However this looks like a longterm investment to me now. No longer risky.

Smack. FNV won't start getting its money back for at least 5 years. And then (depending on gold price) won't be making a massive return. Its happy just to add to (or maintain) its streaming revenues. No reason for the yanks to get out of bed yet.

Look what the people whose companies provided the funding had to say!

'
Paul Brink, President and CEO of Franco-Nevada, commented: "We are excited to support SolGold in the development of their world-class Cascabel project. This gold stream agreement aligns with our strategy to invest in high-quality assets with significant growth potential. We believe SolGold's flagship project will be amongst the next generation of large copper development projects and will contribute meaningfully to our longer-term growth. We are pleased to provide pre-construction funding to derisk project development and project financing that provides a balance of funding certainty and financial flexibility."

Jason Attew, President and CEO of Osisko Gold Royalties, commented: "Cascabel represents one of the most significant copper-gold discoveries in recent history. The project has the potential to become a world-class multi-generational mine, demonstrated by the recent PFS estimating at least a 28-year mine life with numerous avenues for additional mine life extensions. This new stream investment, which complements Osisko's existing royalty on the project, will help to support the development of this exceptional asset and enhance Osisko's long-term growth profile."

I hear you lurker! I’ve two miners , GGP and solgold. This was the riskier play and it’s just got less risky. No way it was getting bought out, the majors can wait until the risk and job is done and pick up the pieces if anything goes wrong.

The RNS clearly says 2 years for permits which I tried to tell all the rampers but they said it was a few months away haha. They didn’t know the differnt between EL for exploration and an EL for actual mining. These clowns ramp so hard they believe their own lies.

I’m holding tight but if it does a quick double I’ll take my money back but no way selling at this level. The main risk has passed.

Not me toastie. I've alway said it looks like going to construction - so no immediate cash for shareholders. But this is good news. Even though still 5 years to revenues, we can now all see the way ahead. Brokers will be redoing their sums with 1/3rd the costs now known. But beware if they puff 'NPV's. They are not a valid guide to what an investor should pay (and aren't supposed to be) which is usually around 1/3rd. (An NPV is the sum of all future cash inflows. Paying it means paying 'up front' merely to get the same back over the project life plus the measly discount rate. No sane investor would do that)

Boys you have held for this news. Anyone that sells now shouldn’t be investing in shares. They took all the risk and let someone else have the upside.

Patience , it’s at least a double in short term.

Come on lurker at least be fair and what about you Logan air hahahaha.

Only Friday you talking about out of money no funding coming.

You boys missed the boat but it’s still a great price and 2032 for an exceptional mine is fantastic. If we had 50 percent on a fully diluted basis and debt free basis it’s amazing. Have to give credit where credit is due, board have done a great job and you are right 9 percent is not expensive.
