LT I have just listened to N.Mather*s 2 interviews. One was where do you see Solgold in 12 months time? [Interview was in 2019] He mentioned REGIONAL EXPLORATION and in particular Porvenir and better define. He also talked of key management role and PFS etc.

So, here we are at Porvenir as he said and the $5m to better define it per yesterday*s RNS.

The other interview was even more interesting - he said that the copper gold industry would help the country.

LoL LT- Are you telling RP not to answer as everyone wants to know?

RP All you said was that the Value people are looking to 60-£1. This you also said on lse solgold and that the fund is looking to DOUBLE OR TRIPLE from here? However, they didnt tell you that?

I ask because you said you were a CA, FD,CEO & Corporate Treasurer- so hence why I am asking? That is what you said on lse solg.

Since, there was such a hooooo har over what I said as value for Alpala from M & A, it was disagreed with such robustness but now its 60p-£1? That is beyond most analysts median target price.

Any reason? Of course, many will want to know why, one minute its too much at M & A value for Alpala at fair value and the next, its DOUBLE OR TRIPLE?

So, Dozy Duck & Rougespierre [RedKnight1 as you said] - all the bish bosh - can I conclude that you are now positioned into Solgold at 32p*ish but could not get your 10p and such like not seen since the days of old yonks ago? Hence, the sileeeeeeeeeeeeence?

Sometimes hard to understand - you should have sold your rubber duck and bought a suit case full at 1p+? LoL.

Copper looking good, gold looking at $1900 again, and an insti connected to China's biggest smelter and it's bank, has thrown $5 million into the kitty. Beats me why anyone is selling.

Watch out RP perhaps the Count is an agent provocateur, they know where you live! :¬)

RP, why, is ADVFN now owned by the Chinese as well and don't they allow freedom of speech in England and on ADVFN anymore?

So, what does Dozy Duck & Rougepierre [RedKnight1] say as to what will now transpire now? It was such a robust discussion over value.

This is now a meaningful moot point in time and worthy of discussion so that history will archive shareholder sentiment and outlook forecasts?

Later, we can all look back if we are in another stock about the good ole* days.

No sound from either so I am off for lunch.

And that was my point POB...FNV can stipulate Alpala because the streaming is directly related, but the Chinese cannot stipulate Porvenir, because there would be no way of proving that's where the money was spent...

As a long-term holder and supporter of Solgold (and Cornerstone) Willem Middelkoop, Commodities Discovery Fund, has commented elsewhere that;

"...SOLG states the Chinese investment is for Porvenir only. But since Porvenir isn't spun-out, there is only one $SOLG treasury, the Chinese now help finance SOLG/Alpala as well. So the Chinese just joined BHP and NCM imho ... getting interesting indeed.

I have no idea as to the validity of this opinion but his portfolio is bigger than mine...

A lot can happen before those shares come out of escrow. Money buys time for
diligence, possibly negotiation and lots of other things too. That time should be a wake up call for others

Patience.....

IMHO I`m quite good at reading and agree that the RNS is quite clear that the money will go to the company`s POR but as I wrote above

"The RNS did not state that the the injection had to be spent on POR but POR is the companiy`s priority". In other words it was not a precondition or if it was the RNS did not state this

Perhaps it is you who needs to understand what you read.

"will be " does not mean "had to be" This was the company`s choice . I was questioning the post by RP earlier this morning when he said

Valuestone wouldn't put a stipulation like that unless their masters had a specific interest in Porvenir, but this is an investment in SOLG, not one mine...so...

P.S

Valuestone Advisors - 2 partners, one is Jiangxi Corporation and Construction Bank of China. On their website, click partners: It says that Jiangxi is not only China*s largest copper producer BUT #3 LARGEST SMELTER GLOBALLY.

In previous Solgold RNS*s, the co said they were talking etc to smelters [state] in China, Korea, India and Japan from recall.

So, consistent with the earlier RNS and not uncommon that stakeholders take a direct stake?. Fisker, an American EV car producer - their 3rd party manufacturer in Austria has taken a 6% stake for an example.

More to come, I am sure relating to off-takers as well and more surprises?

I am also pleased to note that 2 members of this forum are now silent = presumably they are now in the position they want in Solgold or not? Note to self- a good experience for the next time to leave short-thesis to play out with the events/RNS.

On the other forum, lse solgold, there is now a ding dong going on relating to the title: "High risk period next 4 weeks to TO." The thesis is just starting and its heating up between posters who say dis and dat. Leading the charge on this TO heated discussion on lse solg is A who says that BR, host of institutions plus shareholders may jump when [or if] the major calls and that NM is in a weak position because he does not have 50% SHARE of Solgold! Also, the majors are aligned with the other holder per A. History records this discussion prior to what may or may not take place?

For myself, I have also expressed my view and accordingly my position. Hence, everyone will have to have their own view as that means they are ready relating to their own position ie shares in Solgold?

Arcadian @ 10:28 - you must have been reading another RNS, regarding where the funds are going???
Quote:

"...The proceeds of the subscription will be used by the Corporation to advance the Company's 100% owned Porvenir Project located in southern Ecuador...."

Have another read perhaps?
