Mildly encouraging to see them talking about a trading profit margin of at least 18pc this year compared to 17.5pc last year and 17.3pc in 2022.

Smith and nephew has always been way overpriced. Even at the current level still seems overpriced. The dividend payout is below what you get from a saving account and the prospect for growth is just about meh.
The share price should be half as much to yield a healthy dividend of 5-6%.
I would buy only with the wish of seeing the share price back to historical levels but I can't put any weight behind my wish especially with the debt it carries and the rates.

Stryker has grown its share price over 400% in that time. Perhaps we are in the wrong stock. At least we yield more but that's also the story of the uk market.

Disappointingly I'm sitting on a 30% loss.
I have bought more in the recent past but I just can't see a catalyst here.
The last results imo appeared to be more than ok to but since then .....
Bottom drawer for me - so I'm probably not the right person to proffer a view.
