Stryker down in the US that is why.
Ridiculous valuation in a defensive, absolute necessity healthcare sector that the Chairman Soames Churchill's Grandson will hopefully deliver growth as he did with Serco and turn this dog around.
Was trading at DOUBLE this valuation pre-Covid!

Rupe is the key to change here. He did the hard yards himself at Aggreko, before moving to Serco, so knows what's involved, and won't be bamboozled by the exec team. Plus the City loves Soames, so he should be a fantastic asset to have as chairman.

Anyone know why the drop?

No mention of experience in relation to the products that make up the income. Bean counters and money shuffilers. Some 'sharing out' in the offing?

"Simon Lowth has deep experience in finance, accounting, risk, corporate strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions. He currently serves as Group Chief Financial officer of BT Group, a role he has held since 2016"

Good grief.

Extremely undervalued but can see why. Deepak's 12 point plan failing to deliver, profits down despite revenue up and significant drop in sales in second half. May go sub 1000 before it starts going up again.

You have to think this is looking vulnerable to a bid at these levels.......not had a FTSE one for a while..

Are you commenting on justiceforthemany's last post? It may be couched in informal language and even possibly tautological, but I see no orthographical transgressions. What are you referring to?

This has been going up pretty much constantly since the beginning of April.
Very unusual by S&N standards and, compared to American peers, very attractively priced.
As hinted at in the above post there could be something afoot.
