28/7/2022 08:17 | Just as well you didn't! The half year report seems to be similar to all the other large multinationals , so in that sense the Market cannot really be surprised that the revenues are up but the margins are narrower from the the various headwinds. I suspect most of us are long term holders and won't make much of it , just hold and forget. | wad collector
27/7/2022 17:39 | * Luck to holders for tomorrow - should have added. Kept this on a watch list. | essentialinvestor
27/7/2022 17:35 | I sold a few at £12.08 bought on Monday, so expect it to now rocket on the update. tomorrow!. | essentialinvestor
27/7/2022 17:22 | At least we're past the 1200's EI. | keyno
22/7/2022 14:19 | Looking limper than a vicar's handshake atm. | essentialinvestor
20/7/2022 12:25 | interim results next week, can't believe how quiet it is here........ | chrisdgb
16/6/2022 11:42 | renewed china issues should be affecting them but recent results have shown they have turned their own particular execution corner. its called elective surgey but really its not something you put off, so that business should see business regardless of what is happening elsewhere. the covid lows reached a band of sup that EI mentioned and i think that would be a great level to look at or ad. i presently hold a quarter possie in this and looking for lower levels to add to it. i want to see the mkt on its knees first as despite recent losses, its still a bit too orderly. | roguetraderuk
15/6/2022 15:54 | I agree PD looks a no brainer but seems to stubbornly sit at these low levels. It's weird so much optimism baked into airline shares say, but not here. Patience hopefully will pay off. | jrr774
15/6/2022 15:47 | I doubled my holding in this one earlier today. It makes no sense for SN/ to be trading 2% above the COVID trough when electives were cancelled etc. | pdosullivan
29/4/2022 15:41 | Stuck this back on a watch list, update relatively encouraging. | essentialinvestor
29/4/2022 09:45 | Oops..wrong page ? | mansell59
29/4/2022 09:44 | Bid rumours? | mansell59
29/4/2022 09:09 | I bought back in around 12.63 so thank you for your comment, made me nervous to miss out | jonojubb
24/4/2022 10:59 | With a trading update imminent on Thursday and much to be positive about with this company I think you will be lucky to see the low 12s again, unless the general market is very poor for the first part of the week and SN. tracks it down unavoidably. I think now is time to stay invested and we could see £18 by the end of 2022 | chamer1
22/4/2022 15:37 | I agree, I expect the long term to be much higher so I hope I get back in around low 12s | jonojubb
22/4/2022 15:30 | jnj reported strong growth in elective surgery hence the strength in the shares here. but looks like 200dma firmly rejected. what has been encouraging is that there has been no lower low than the feb low. maybe not a big deal elsewhere but for this name which has serially underperformed its a big deal. i have a half position just a few percent below current so not in a hurry to sell it but while capped by 200dma then some weakness likely. relative to index however its probably going to do a bit better. | roguetraderuk
22/4/2022 15:21 | I sold up at 13.12 as it's frustrating to continue to hold while it swings from 12 to 13. Will buy again once it drops back down to 12, which I'm confident it will. | jonojubb
21/4/2022 09:52 | Would be nice to keep the positive traction going... | chrisdgb
19/4/2022 15:40 | Now up 3.3% for a 6% swing on the day | kev0856153
19/4/2022 12:27 | Down 2.7% at one point this morning now at midday it's back to flat for the day. Strange behaviour for such a large cap | kev0856153
14/4/2022 14:27 | Agreed - with more people able to move around more freely, amd with surgeons now able to perform without distractions, backlogs for hip/knee replacements should slowly be reduced | marcela9
09/4/2022 15:03 | Surprised this is not moving higher. Other healthcare and pharma stocks up 20% in the last month or so. As summer approaches one would think elective backlog will be cleared and >half revenues are from USA. | justiceforthemany
23/2/2022 08:06 | nice write up in the IC, worth a look. valuation is below its long term average (which it should be given the issues) but that leaves upside for improvement as performance improves. 19 times 22 and 17 times 23. | roguetraderuk
22/2/2022 14:52 | Debt to equity <1 Equity ratio >2 Demand will soar as Covid hits the backburner. | justiceforthemany |
