I agree looks like IPC. The spread is currently very high 4425 - 4500 due to very low volumes. Guess as everyone gets familiar with this, spread will close |
Thanks irenekent. Maybe because it wasn't listed until today? (though the ADVFN link above still shows). |
To answer my own question it looks like its IPC, International Paper Company |
Seems to be OJCB (?) but that is only as a result of a Google search.
Hargreaves Lansdown seem to have them listed as a CDI under the ticker IP.
Edit: Also here |
What's the new EPIC? |
IP next quarterly dividend is $0.4625 per share with XD 24/2/25 payable 17/3/25 |
Yes! I believe DS Smith shareholders would be entitled to the next dividend which was just declared. |
I assume we are entitled to the IP dividend just declared. Correct? |
Mine on ii have vanished. Expect ip next week |
Hi grantley,
Yes, I'm with HL so getting the same info as you. It does look as if they've got a LSE listing. |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) I think this may answer my own question Jeffian - I am with HL so assume my shares will just transfer to the new IP shares on the LSE as below - do you concur?

Thanks Jeffian - took a look and you mentioned IP planned to have secondary listing in UK - i could not determine if that was confirmed so do you know if these stay in UK as a new IP UK company/ticker or just be on US company shares quoted in US? Many thanks in advance |
See #4848, 4850, 4852. |
I believe I have until tomorrow to sell my shares. Can anyone help with feedback as to whether I get taxed in dividends if have a W-Ben with Hargreaves and if the shares acquired will be on US exchange or UK. There was talk about a secondary UK listing so will just move to that to trade if choose to. Was the secondary listing confirmed so my shares will in IP in UK? Many thanks |
It would be interesting to know why the IP shares fell $2 plus, before recovering. Naturally DS Smith shares crashed to $5.65 before recovering some of the loss. I sold 4,000 DSSmith yesterday at £6.075. I was wishing I had sold the lot. |
Or is this best place ? |
Has anyone come across a discussion board like this for International Paper. It would be interesting to see discussion on the results today for IP. Thinking about my long term decision on what to do with my SMDS shares. Cash in or take IP shares ? |
Yes they will. If a platform like HL do not have a W-8BEN in place for you, they will sell your shares. Happened to my daughter who forgot/ignored their reminders. |
not sure they would sell the shares.....incur a more penal tax rate maybe but dont think they would sell the shares. |
Thanks to the guys who gave me feedback to my question earlier. It’s been helpful and given me more understanding. I will continue to hold for now.IP price is up and down. I will hold for now and not panic. |
