20/2/2007 11:39 | If a bid is seriously on the cards then it must come pretty soon because the share price is heading for 1oop with or without one. | martest

20/2/2007 11:15 | Breaking out - above the recent small high - go through 70p and these should motor imo. Is a bid on here now? UTV or someone else? CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
20/2/2007 11:12 | The large trades are cross trades but you'd expect that fund to fund if something was going on imo - it's the price - 7op. That 196K @ 70p isn't a cross trade tho - it's a straight buy. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
20/2/2007 11:09 | the Hanover stuff doing good today with TRI SPT CSLT and this | mykai
20/2/2007 11:06 | is that not across trade at 70p but between who and how come we have still no news on utv or is this off now | acornoptical

16/2/2007 10:59 | I think you're right Acornoptical. If there's a sum of the parts valuation here that's a lot higher than the whole then Hanover will flush it out imo. I personally think Hanover will get directors on board to run it. Fidelity wanted to sack the Chairman but the board threatened to resign en-masse. I think Fidelity will call the board's bluff when they have gys there to put in place if the board resigns now. I'm sure it won't be long till there's more news coming out of here. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
15/2/2007 12:55 | itv have 17% fidelity 15% hanover 7%? no news on merger with utv will one of the large shareholders try and buy the others out? i have thought for sometime that this company is worth more if the parts were sold seperatley what do you think steve harley ?? | acornoptical
15/2/2007 12:34 | Thanks again for further info CR & darlocst ;O) | theo13
15/2/2007 12:15 | Fidelity have been adding, now up to 15% nearly. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
14/2/2007 23:21 | I use the advfn portfolio feature (version 1 I think), add all the stocks I want prices for in there and then import the webpage via the Data-Get External Data feature in Excel (the minimum refresh time is once a minute - so not quite real-time). I then use a vlookup function to bring the bid price into the list of my positions. | ![]() darlocst |
