08/8/2007 12:27 | So what does it mean to the share price? We now have rules in place on SMC ie no delayed trades MM's have to show all trades as they go through if they were placed before the news. 2 bid 1 offer L2 Some delayed trades showing but from now on a fair market. Bit strange how the MM's walked this up today. LOL Call me a skeptic | just looking
08/8/2007 12:24 | I dont have an account with them. | sllab101
08/8/2007 12:23 | Well, full bank support is good news, so no dilution there. As for the merger, I guess that'll be done at a small premium to current price but it takes away hopes of a more significant longer term recovery, at least under the SMC banner. And what do Aukett bring to the party? Better management? Could be the missing link. | njp
08/8/2007 12:23 | Nums are not shifting so they dont think much of this news. | 2centrat
08/8/2007 12:20 | "sllab101 - 8 Aug'07: CMC don't list as it is only MC of 14 mill". I have an existing SB position on SMC with IG Index and they are currently quoting 29.49 - 30.82 on a December contract. | masurenguy

08/8/2007 12:00 | I'm neutral but cautious with this and especially with Numis constantly on the offer. Earlier on when i looked you could buy 500,000 online, i had to double check that limit but it was true. I see it dropped but it's now starting to grow again online to 25k, been stung before in Smc and it was Numis then who were always on the offer so you may understand my caution. | 2centrat
