volvo...The fast ratcheting up of the Divi was a no brainer once the strategy was changed to cost trimming and organic growth. They are going to have to put those profits somewhere now its not a mad aquisition race.

Master RSI - 29 Apr'07 - 19:08 - 6602 of 6602

Quite brilliant - it makes my, previous, nonsense look not so bad, to boot.

Many thanks.

I assume, from an RSI masters perspective, we are still quite bullish. However, I still don't think that more news, of the positive type, would go amiss. That would serve to substantiate The Masters words and charts.

I am on the sidelines here but, very interested, hence, my continuing to post.

Cheers all - especially Master RSI and TurboTrader

re -Chart formation

Around the beguining of April a Double bottom was formed, and so the high moved up on the share price

Now the shape is of a CUP and Handle, but what happened before does not go with the subsequent shape.....

The cup-with-handle pattern is a bullish continuation pattern that is formed by a corrective movement in price following an upward trend in prices.

A 'buy' signal has been posted by britishbulls.com for SMC shares. They don't claim a 100% success rate, but 95% sounds good enough to me!

Johne1...They all look great after the event, but rarely before. Would only ever trade a chart in combination with news or if I knew the company absolutely from top to bottom over a long period of time.
The head and shoulders can turn into top testing before breakout, the flag can turn into long term decline, the double bottom can turn into a multiple bottom test before collapse....you never know till afterwards :)

Sorry for butting in here.

As I stated earlier, I am no chartist. However, I have come across some of the terminology from those who practise TA etc..

I just wondered if we could take a vote on preferences.

For example, out of the three types of formation, known to me, namely: -
1. Head and Shoulders
2. Flag Formation
3. Double Bottom
Number 3 is my favourite. Only the female ones though.

Any light comments, without swearing at me?

I doubt anywhere near enough have been accumulated yet for there to be any need of a 'holdings RNS'...

The important thing may well not be newsflow, simply 'facts on the ground' ie continued hoovering of what little is now being put up for sale...

It all bodes very well imo but obviously dyor!

there is still massive upside mate##something has drove this price up such as scots assessment of a big buyer in the wings

perhaps a "holdings" announcement soon will show

Perhaps you guys should heed a cautionary note here and use anti dandruff shampoo. That could just do the trick and prevent the sort term 'head and shoulders' forming.

Seriously though, (I am no chartist or TA expert), I am pleased for those of you who have took advantage of the recent gains.

I missed the boat.

GME?? part of business in administration.
Take a look at EDD, very very overlooked. Pe ratio going forward is around 7, just announced another earnings enhancing deal and they've no debt with cash in bank an dpay a nice divi. CHH another aim bargain debt free on a very low pe coming good now though, may have to wait a short while but these bargains don't half reward you. Prob the same here 6-12 months out. LTHM another no brainer on AIM also.

omalala I must say I like E Pay and I believe it will do well.

What I look for before buying is tangible value.

What I mean by this is that I need to visit companys see what they do and talk to the people involved.

That is difficult with E Pay.SMC was easy you make a few calls you visit the west end and talk to a few directors.Simple fee charging business that must come good.

If you want a gamble look at GME they are making cranes and stuff for the oil industry and WILL make over 5m pbt this year and are on a pe of 2.9.I own shares in this company and see a multi.

the 1st bounce was naturally sold off on quick profit taking...I expect some resistance at 100-110 from the many that bght before the last drop....

I intend to hold...as said 120-150 easy within 6 months...1/2 bagger for those who reloaded at the lows.
