Reading between the lines it was Smartspace, with Skedda’s consent, and not Skedda who announced the the extension. Therefore being cynical, I feel that Skedda is not going to make a massive hike to their £25m offer, and let Smartspace and their major shareholders sweat it out, to take it or leave it. I still reckon that a rise from 83p to 90p will be snapped up by the institutions and that is where we will finish. A positive Trading Update towards the end of January will show Smartspace’s hand and it will be up to Skedda to fold or up the ante.

I will take 82pFrank not delivered on promises I worry he wants to prove a point But our shares will be back to 40p - 50p if he rejects offer .82p is fair ..hope it goes through Better investments elsewhere .

Looks as though we will need wait until post close to get an RNS. AIM shares are usually a leaky ship, so share price movement may give us a clue to the eventual outcome. Been here a long time but I’ll take xxx’s £1.29 and move on, but I don’t think we’ll get to that number.

A sale of only 3 shares at midday yesterday brought the ask price down 5p - hence small fall - bid price unchanged. Should get news later today.

Thinking about a reasonable takeout offfer:

Annual Recurring Revenue was up 21% year-on-year to GBP5.8 million at 31 July 2023.

Assuming it is around £6m at 31 Dec and applying x5 = £30m + change of control premium . Usually ~25% area would = £37.5m /29m shares = £1.29 TP

How close the board get to that will be a measure of their effectiveness...

90p would still be awful given how much money was invested into the company, you would find that probably a lot of the ii investors wont walk away with much profit if any

I think they need some premium to the amount they have invested so far in terms of capital spent and losses.

This is going to the wire. My reading of the lack of news to date is that both parties are in discussion as to an acceptable exit price. For what it’s worth, if they are stilling talking, my forecast is a take out at £30m, valuing the shares at approximately 90p. Pure speculation on my behalf, but we’ll find out soon.

Its hard to know which holders based on this offer will actually make a profit, if you look at some of the bigger holders some of them will walk away with a lost.
