I'm not sure it tells us much as it was a small proportion of his holding. It is hardly an exit, and too small even for risk mitigation.

Peel Hunt backs Sirius Real Estate after interims

Real estate investment trust (Reit) Sirius Real Estate (SRE) has posted ‘strong numbers’ in its interim results and investors have nothing to worry about from a ‘temporary cash drag’, says Peel Hunt.

Analyst Matthew Saperia retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and increased his target price from 60p to 68p after a 7.8% rise in net asset value per share in the first half and a 12% hike to the dividend.

‘Sirius has reported another set of strong numbers, with an accounting return over the period of 10.4% and shareholders are rewarded with a 12% increase in the interim dividend to 1.56 euro cents per share,’ he said.

‘Good progress has been made on recycling sales proceeds, with €166.7 million of acquisitions now complete, notarised, or in exclusivity.’

He added that the ‘temporary cash drag from timing differences in capital recycling is manageable’ and the potential earnings and value accretion from recent acquisitions were an ‘exciting prospect’.

‘Shares deserve their c.3% premium to our revised March 2019 net asset value per share forecast of 69.1 cents given 4.6% prospective yield,’ added Saperia.

The shares edged a quarter of a penny lower to 64p yesterday

I agree spread is pathetic,because not many trades,and small market cap.Discount dividend,and main Director and shareholder,Ken Murray,is no mug,so long term it should be ok

This price now looks up with NAV. I'd leave off until the final results come out,which is soon. Check out BLP which has bigger discount to NAV,

Nibbled on a few at 54 in late April early May..wishing I'd had a few more now ..if 60 holds I'll consider topping up

Yes,share price is at a premium to NAV at 55p,but price also goes up because the company deals in german real estate,and the euro assets make it dearer in £'s.

I wish the politicians would stop talking Brexit,but mention Grexit and the next Greek bail out,or when the Italian banks,presently in debt to the tune of 300bn euros,will fall? (oops not supposed to mention this,for backlash from remoaners).
Never mind,the euros will disintegrate,once the full horror story emerges.

Well that's me out for the time being due to stalling momentum. Trying to cut back on postions at moment with EU vote ahead. Nice profit anyway.

Think this has on a longer time frame got a lot more appreciation to go.
