Just wondering if this activity in the middle east is slowing things down for us. Ironically, I would have thought it would be benefitting our cause but suspect those waiting to sign off Angola are watching and seeing where this is going. Oil prices should go up, so a quick relist would make sense but what reservations those signing off may have is anyone's guess. Personally, can't think of a better time to relist and get things moving.

HT would have been more helpful if the person who did the email put their name or they put out the post officially and the email problem just seemed a pile of rubbish

Absolutely correct.... nothing exciting about it, in fact it is exactly what Dr Rossso said he didn't want:


Doc said: I look forward to your confirmation of the above. Kindly do not respond along the lines of "we are waiting for Angola to complete, after which we will be preparing for re-listing"

IR said: "The transaction is progressing and we are waiting on final approvals but cannot yet be firm as to a timeline at this stage until that is confirmed. Once that stage is reached we will move ahead with the listing process."

So yeah, the only positive (if you could call it that) is that they have actually answered.


So why all the positivity? Same posters as before ?

What's actually a bit disconcerting is
1. this court thing -- what's going on?

2. The email broken situation. We heard about this weeks ago. Now we hear it's something to do with security and IR segregation.
Some (at least one of us - me) haven't received the IR email.
Other(s) getting it via some icloud way.
Others seem to be getting it almost as if they are sending them one-by-one!

As soon as anyone mentions SECURITY in the context of email or any IT context it's a worry. I am concerned about this.!!

I still haven't received an IR email and it ain't in "junk". Is there anyone else that would've expected one that's not received one.

Aventador, your response to the email is understandable, however, it hardly encourages the bod to issue more of them.

This was my reply in full:

First of all our apologies for the very late reply. Unfortunately we have discovered a problem with our IR email security which was segregating your emails into IR. Again, many apologies.


In answer to your question, in short we are required to complete the current Angolan transaction before relisting.  The transaction is substantial and has been long in duration given the multitude of stakeholders in the proposed assets required to approve its go ahead - of which we are confident - but we also recognise the long duration that shareholders have had to endure.


The transaction is progressing and we are waiting on final approvals but cannot yet be firm as to a timeline at this stage until that is confirmed. Once that stage is reached we will move ahead with the listing process.


We are sorry that we can't be more definitive at this stage but will be announcing an update in due course when we are able to do so.

Not sure what was so exciting about it basically the same old rubbish of we are waiting for Angola to complete,which is never ending and will relist,only thing I believe is money my in my HL account

It's a copy and paste email everyone got the same reply it seems.. waiting for Angola sorry for delay! 5 bloody years is a long wait plus the other ten we've already waited in some cases doesn't exactly fill me with confidence on past history and being told similar news was imminent years and years ago by there pr which never happened.

As investors we are aware of the recent court case with Omega.
Naturally this is viewed as disturbing. Given this something extremely important to the company, I would have expected some sort of update/explanation to be forthcoming.

I read that email as both Tunisia (Cosmos) and Nigeria (65) progress dependent on a successful outcome in Angola. As if there is one big Trafigura-led consortium 565funding package, suitably divided up in accordance with needs.
