"Sirius is in advanced discussions with a third-party funder for the provision of the required $40 million debt funding, which is intended to be secured directly
against the cash flows generated as a result of the Ejulebe MWPC, which is designed to boost current production on the Ejulebe Field from c. 250 bopd to over 5,000 bopd, by providing for a workover on 1 existing well and the drilling of one new
development well, EJ-9 and, at the Company’s option, 2 additional work-overs or side-tracks of existing wells. The MWPC also includes an obligation to drill 1 exploration well on either the EJ-WSW or EJ-SW prospect."

Atlas Petroleum Resumes Development of Nigeria's OML 109 ...
www.petroleumafrica.com › atlas-petroleum-resumes-d...
Jul 6, 2020 - Atlas Petroleum International has resumed workover activities and well interventions on OML 109 in Nigeria in order to enhance production .

Could this new field activity not be the outcome of Sirius` involvement? Seems highly unlikely to me that Atlas could suddenly find a different partner to jump into bed with, and get things moving so quickly. The July 6 brief is pretty much exactly what Sirius was promising ie workovers, well interventions, boost/enhance production. JB`s dismissal merely adds to my suspicions.

Similarly with Block 114, who`s suddenly going to leapfrog in, with a rushed up $40m to hand, sorted for MPL, with Trident VIII now set to commence drilling work on Abana. This is Nigeria, remember. Witness again the unseemly haste to dismiss any hope of the field development partner being Sirius. Hmmm.

Well if Sirius are in a legal (lights on funding) agreement (Craven) to relist before end of year would take three months to come back would mean they would need to release an admissions document this week (to avoid xmas down time)We shall see if this is the case !

Thanks for the advice Bummer.....but I'm merely quoting the management.. maybe you should divert your attention to them. It wouldn't surprise me if they mentioned the dread Q4 again.

Cheers vat......If I had to sit an exam paper headed 'Sirius Petroleum'...I'd fail.

Outlook (from latest AR)
The MAIN focus for the Group in the IMMEDIATE term is to successfully COMPLETE the OML 109 acquisition and the acquisition of the Additional Producing Asset highlighted above. These bring immediate entitlement to production as
well as low risk production growth and exciting development, appraisal and exploration opportunities. The Board is confident that it can secure the funding required and has the technical and commercial capabilities to successfully deliver
on the potential that these two transformational acquisitions bring.

HT, SRSP are not involved with 109, JB has given a strong indication of that in his message to Chuffy.

Lotusblossom also plugging Akers. Akers and Holm working on a Ghana asset. But what is he doing at the Bury St office? Sirius branching out in West Africa to form a Pan African entity? Ghanaian cruise ship?

"...which it believes is potentially transformational for Sirius..."

That part is true. Before the 109 deal came along SRSP was listed on the stock exchange, now they are not. Transformed!

I wonder if it took Atlas two and half years to get a deal signed?

OML 109 Acquisition
On 4 December 2018 the Board was delighted to announce that it had signed a conditional agreement to indirectly
acquire an effective 30 per cent interest in OML 109, a block containing the producing Ejulebe field, and a transaction
which it believes is potentially transformational for Sirius (“OML 109 Acquisition”). OML 109 is located approximately
30km south of OML 95, ..'

241, estimated to have 7 billion barrels of oil equiv, certainly is in Ondo offshore territory. PGS collected the seismic data, Schlumberger took 2 years to analyse. All directed and paid for by Sirius, on behalf of Owen, 80% owner of the long 241 lease. Can`t imagine that FGN is too happy that such a potentially lucrative O&G block, sitting right next to Lekki, continues to lay dormant.

Out of interest, this fellow has just appeared on the scene.

Along those lines, why is Ivar Holm, a D&W Engineer working for Norway`s Aker Energy, based at 25 Bury Street? Currently working alongside Tomi and Lavinia at the office. Why is he still here?

Whatever, something is about to break and could well be ahead of 114 news. Will we see a skimpy rowing boat or a majestic cruise liner? The latter brings forth a big-revenue-generating O&G producing asset partnership, the former a tuppeny tpot 10% of oil services cash flow from a prospective 2k bopd tiddler.

What`s it going to be? Eyes peeled ....
