Our hopes are up.


AR statement makes it clear that one acquisition only will not trigger an announcement. In that case, we should expect to see TWO deals completed and fully funded, no ifs. Also note that, acc to the above, the AD will comprise part of the announcement. So yes they`ll be going for relist. Tbh I`d settle for a modest 3p for starters. On 5bn shares, that`s a fairly hefty £150m mcap.

If they really have finally done it, further transactions are expected to follow, with a chance of being in on the massive NNPC-owned Block 119. There`ll also be a bunch of Chevron and other majors` more marginal assets up for grabs.

Are we on our way at long last?

If there really is some significant news about tba, it needs to be about a deal done, completed, concluded, signed off by all parties.


Enough of the "subject to", "it is hoped that ..", "conditional upon", "we expect .." "in advanced stage", "finalising" etc etc, because this stuff doesn`t wash any more.

I heard it the same time I first bought srsp shares...it was new then...I forgot to mention...the archaeologists investments in srsp...are also in ruins.

It's not all bad news being an Sirius petroleum shareholder...'Hurricane Energy', down from 65p to 2.75p.....not quite as bad as 9p to 0.6p...
