I must admit that although I cn understand the £5M and the $10M loans, I am at a loss when it comes to the latest $15M working capital facility. I have no idea how they managed to provide security for that.

So the question being why would barrack/ unknown provide the £15m ( if it is barrack) to pay off Wonga if not confident on a return

Yes HT, but there is a difference. The $5M was a CLN "death spiral" loan, and thankfully was never fully drawn down, and has now been paid off.

The $10M was for a specific project (OML 114 farm-in fee) and was held in escrow, so SRSP did not have access to it.

The $15M is basically an overdraft facility and I don't know how much of it has been used, apart from the £1.32 that was used to pay off the balance of the Alpha Blue loan.

Actually I hope that the next loan is vey much bigger than $20M and will be specifically for a substantial revenue-earning project!

I agree vat...however, £5m facility agreed on the 5th of Jan, £10m on the 2nd of August and £15 on the 29th August....Increments of £5m a time....so I'm expecting the next loan to be £20m.....the reasons for the loans, we are told, are for non confirmed yet to be signed off 'carrots', however,the primary purpose is to keep the lights on.
