17/5/2018 09:32 | Can't explain the 8 month or 8 year delay. However specifically regarding Force it would be a valid reason. No idea why an explanation couldn't be given. | ![]() cornishtrader1000
17/5/2018 09:32 | Bronislav I think I did understand your post , you say 'my post clearly says that the evidence for it being in the UAE is no stronger than for it being offshore Nigeria waiting for the green light for completion of mobilisation' And I say there is factual evidence it was in UAE from a number of sources and it doesn't seem to have moved. There is absolutely no evidence to say it's offshore Nigeria. We can agree to disagree, no problem, but I maintain my position, plenty of evidence it was and still is in UAE. we have evidence on one hand and wishful thinking on the other hand, that's about it. No evidence at all, not even a shred, that it's in Nigeria or anywhere en route. The balance of probabilities is heavily weighed to it still being in UAE. There is simply no way that the evidence for either option is equal, or anywhere close. I don't rule out the possibility entirely, but I struggle to see how.I prefer to go with the balance of probabilities based on the evidence, a lot for UAE, none at all for Nigeria. Early results and early AGM are to be welcomed. Let's hope it heralds something of significance. But I'm mindful that with new members of the bod it could be something as simple as a desire to get results out more promptly (still 4.5 months after year end) and get the business of the AGM done. Who knows, they might all be in London on that date and it suits all parties. Given past disappointments, think I prefer to keep grounded till something of note actually happens. | ![]() astralvision

17/5/2018 09:23 | Astral .I think you misunderstood my post .my post clearly says that the evidence for it being in the UAE is no stronger than for it being offshore Nigeria waiting for the green light for completion of mobilisation. When we are trying to makes sense of ambiguous rns,s with little detail it's prudent to consider ALL possibilities.Any thoughts on the early results and early AGM.? | ![]() bronislav
17/5/2018 09:12 | Cornish I think it could be something like that, some sort of operational delay is a lot more likey than the thing magically popping up in Nigeria. Operational delays are not unusual in this industry. | ![]() astralvision

17/5/2018 08:53 | Chances are the Force was a few weeks late finishing the previous contract and during the detachment and move something broke. As these monster structures aren't off the shelf most significant parts would need to be created, built, shipped and replaced. | ![]() cornishtrader1000
17/5/2018 08:47 | Can anybody clarify. If Schlumberger was about to farm into the 'Ororo Project', would shareholder approval be required to give it the go ahead ? | ![]() 1alfi
17/5/2018 08:38 | Good question Bidmoll. Wish I knew, but I am quite sure that COSL are not holding back on the rig by their own decision, for the same reason that they are losing $100k per day. | ![]() vatnabrekk
17/5/2018 08:20 | Why would COSL be prepared to lose £x,000 per day in fees and leave a rig unused because SRSP ask them to? | bidmoll
17/5/2018 08:11 | Vatnaabrek.i disagree...the evidence for the rig being in UAE is no stronger than the evidence for it being offshore Nigeria awaiting the completion of mobilisation. The early results and AGMare a first for Sirius and if they don't butter up the shareholders with pre AGM news sweeteners ,that will also be a first. If news was negative and nothing happening they would have delayed the AGM as long as they needed...The consortium are the oil men ,the board at Sirius are the accountants . | ![]() bronislav
17/5/2018 08:06 | The rig will stay in Dubai until SRSP give COSL the green light to start moving it. IMHO. | ![]() vatnabrekk

16/5/2018 22:42 | Why 15 months ht? Give up looking. Think Astralvision has the answers in his posts... Assets....... Think the consortium are here for the Ororo field only????..... Get ready...... | 1sonic
16/5/2018 22:20 | 'Can someone on here tell me where the bloody rig is?' We've been looking for it for the past 15 months.....and can't find it. The only 100% certainty is...we can tell you where it's not....at Ororo. | ![]() htrocka2
16/5/2018 22:16 | We'll have to wait and see what they've got up their sleeve and the reason for the early AGM....this lot changes its mind like the weather. May 2013... Well Re-entry Program - Ororo-1 'The Company intends to focus its initial drilling activities on the re-entry of the Ororo-1 well located in the Ororo field (OML 95)....' .....then decides on 02 and then,03,04,05, eventually dropping the initial rns'sd O1 Well re-entry plan.... and all within 48 months, (Oh, and I forgot that gas production is in there somewhere) | ![]() htrocka2
