If Bresson Energy(in effect the same 'boss' as Oilworld) approached Ondo State for final 80% of OPL 241 in which Oilworld already own 20%.....why has Lekoil's 1% not been mentioned or acknowledged?

Another O@G company I'm tracking at the moment....up 12.3% so far today. Not that they're any larger or of more value than SRSP...but have a better record of maintaining targets.

'Critical equipment has been successfully contracted for i3's 2018 development programme. Importantly, two subsea trees and wellheads have been ordered for May and August 2018 delivery, which supports the Company's aspiration to bring two wells into production under Liberator's Phase I plan subject to raising the necessary finance.

i3 continues to source and align other key equipment and services, with drilling targeted to commence during the first half of 2018.'

Yeah they've said that but looking back it was completely bonkers for them to say it, only now are we in position and on the cusp of production finally. Let's hope they rns mobilisation this month then we can spud late June ish.

You say deposits have been paid before, when have we paid deposits for a rig before whilst being an operator and funded and in a position to drill.

Drill date after drill date has been given in confidence and deposits have been paid only to be followed by missed dates indicates , to me anyway, that something has come up at the very last minute to stop everything in its tracks. Without speculating, the only thing that comes to mind is the Bresson Energy negotiations to take over Owena's 80% of OPL 241. From various sources already posted, Ondo State acknowledged that Owena Oil and Gas only have two assets, Ororo and OPL 241. The AD states they we may have an interest in 'other' Ondo State assets....this, then, can only be OPL 241 their only other asset. The SRSP deal made with Owena with respect to 241 may be up in the air and has now become be part of the Bresson negotiations that as from November 2017...were 'still ongoing'. Oilworld need COSL just as much as we do and have indicated that , should they obtain the 80% of 241...are prepared to (quote) 'share the fields management with other sources'...which indicates that the srsp/owena agreement is to be re-negotiated. This is only my opinion...but the only conclusion I can come up with.
COSL is not moving ....just for Ororo. 241 is the big one and real prize, 10 times larger than Ororo. ....as I said....my opinion only.(and don't forget that Lekoil could also be a 'fly in the ointment' with their 10% option on OPL 241.....and must be taken into consideration).....at the end of the day, some form of resolution will be reached.

Mini Chris i would say people do hope/ believe something will come of this in the future! The doc as far as i know has never claimed anything but this! As far as being a moron with a sense of entitlement, I would say any investor who has given their hard earned over the years while the bod have made promises and deadlines that they have missed time and time again while some proving a lie all together! Then the process starts again while no one is accountable for this and no explanation is ever given then I would say they do feel entitled for the years of nonsense they have been fed!

I think we will stick to the original plan albeit behind schedule prob not bods fault but other circumstances as per usual name of the game.Next we will find out about these other hidden assets we've been working on for years and we will finally flourish or be sold off, either way they don't want us pis here getting the profits so sit tight keep buying one day we will get our cash back and a bit of profit, it's just frustrating the time scales that have gone on here which are unacceptable when promises have been made and broken on more than one occasion.Sit tight next rally in share price will soon arrive as next rns approaches surely by end of this month.

Had the BOD kept to their promised strategy....all those prices would have been justified at the time....forget the £1.00, forget the $1.00...2p is now the 'target'.....and if there's no drill by the end of the year..2p will become a dream.

Don't be a moron. People invest in companies on a whim/hunch/research or on expectations or promises made by a board of directors. This board has failed on many levels and people have the right to vent their frustration in private or public.
But in a bid to placate you, I am sure there will be good news....in the near term.

rod99... it's not moronic at all... it has a two fold objective, firstly to prompt the BOD, who read these boards, into understanding our frustrations and also give account for their own actions. Capitalism is not democracy. If the BOD makes a statement in early 2012 that they're about to drill 'subject to rig availability'...and SIX YEARS LATER.... are still looking for the rig....tells me that this delay is nothing to do with a bloody rig.

Nothing would have changed except the price of oil...and SRSP's excuses for not drilling.



(Oil currently $78 a barrel....this is deja vu...I've been here once already with this company,...watched it go from $40 to $125 and back to $40........and during that time they were 'promising to drill'.... 'subject to rig availability'......and they're still looking......and promising.)
