The company can't have a placing just because some of the shareholders want a bigger piece of the pie. There needs to be a better reason than that, and as they now have access to all the funding they need for now, I just can't see a placing happening.

Ironically for Easter, the MDA'S are about to turn North and play 'catch-up' towards the 'golden cross'...and we'll be away.

A couple of points on DR's post...why order the latest two well heads when they're not ready for them...conclusion being that the change in rigs suggests some problem caused a delay that put the drill date back having already ordered the well heads...

..and as far as printing more shares with the new AD...OK, they might well get them off for 1p , but more shares means that the rate of climb for ALL shares in existence will be slowed down and much lower with the new valuation...with company options exercisable at first oil....does the BoD want that?

ps...why, as suggested, do you need more shares when they have the project finance?

Agent Sirius, the servant of Ondo. Task: bring the State's pipeline of marginal fields, + adjacent block to the brink of production. It's taken 7 years to complete the funding and bring in the technical expertise. When that rig moves, it's job done.

'deadly....'.. every new tax year has another ISA allowance...I'm hoping that they don't wait until April 6th to start moving the rig....otherwise, that'll take us into May.

Will not be a rush on ISA day but certainly a slight increase in volume.

Update will land soon enough, share price is getting ready to break and hold 1p once and for all, you can see it building.

i can't see a rig rns coming this week, as if the hlv is our lift ship then it will not be in uae till the weekend then we need the rig to be loaded so we might be looking at next week before possible news. as for the isa rush i am not sure i buy into that as if memory serves me correct the last few years isa day has seen hardly any action. as someone posted the other day folk have had a decade to wrap this lot up in a isa. lets all have a nice easter break then look forward to some news flow soon after

For the last five years the good Dr was the main person who always kept our faith in this co, now it is on the verge of production the Dr seems to be bringing it down. Can't make you out at the moment!

Expecting a quiet week, pre-ISA.

I remain suspicious of that announcement re wellheads supposedly for O4 and O5 later in the year. Why take delivery now? Why announce now?

Fwiw, it's all about getting the share price back up to 1p and stabilising it there. After the £20k ISAs have been taken up, trading is likely to be suspended, with another AD on the way due to the pipeline of acquired assets requiring rto. With these things, comes a placing, prob a fairly modest one for the prileged few. At 1p, naturally.
