22/3/2018 22:18 | Doubt very much that the 2 new wellhead systems will be for making O4 and O5 ready in 6 months time. "The Elgin and Franklin fields are located in the Central Graben Area of the North Sea, 240 kilometres east of Aberdeen in 93 metres water depth. The reservoirs, located 6000 metres below the seabed, produce gas condensate at high pressure (1000bar g) and high temperature (200°C). The fields started up production in 2001. Elgin and Franklin have similar wellhead platforms (WHP) each of which is connected to the PUQ (Production, Utilities, Quarters) platform. Each wellhead platform has 6 producing wells. The Elgin WHP is linked to the PUQ by a 90 metre bridge and the Franklin WHP is linked to the PUQ by a 5500 metre pipeline bundle. This contains two 12 NB pipelines. The field layout is illustrated in Figure 1. The combined production from these fields is 15.5 x 106 std m³/day gas and 159,000" Using the above article as an illustration, it seems pretty clear that at least 2 outlying marginals are now ready to be brought back into production. Instead of repeating Chevron's ops focusing on oil and flaring off the gas, they will be targeting known gas condensate reservoirs. This must be why they have chosen the HPHT Force drilling rig. Sutton, the subsurface, now production, engineer has been working on these fields for the last 27 months. Must be ready to be tied into Ororo and the hub's own drilling schedule. | dr rosso

22/3/2018 18:05 | The Broker/Nomad arrangement (as is in our case) is not only to advise the legal aspects of AIM rules to the company but also to create a market....up/down = win/win. 'The broker may be from the same firm as the nomad if a company chooses to appoint a firm which performs both functions' | htrocka2
22/3/2018 17:03 | Deadly, I'm not convinced the mms are too concerned what the share price is - so long as they're doing business. | jenny tulwought
22/3/2018 16:56 | one positive of being invested in small cap stocks is that they are not effected as much by the world markets falling. ftse 100 will soon be in a bear market even though in my opinion its never been in much of a bull market considering its only around 200 point higher then it was 5 years ago! things looking good here even if we hold 1p till the next rns then that leaves plenty of scope to kick on with more good news. this is only the start i bet the mm's are keeping everything crossed the longtermers sell out on the cheap | deadly nightshade
22/3/2018 15:41 | Thanks Ed! | riskybisky
22/3/2018 13:51 | Risky, Worth noting too that they don't expect the first well to do more than 10,000bopd and 15mmcfd, but they're gonna use a separator and heater capable of 15,000bopd and 25mmcfd just in case. I'm guessing the just in case bit is if O3, O4 and O5 do more than 13,000boepd. :) They're expecting circa 4,500bopd from O-2 and O-3. Of course now that SLB have carried out the MEM on the existing well data and seismic for the ideal placing of the wells, well design and completions who really knows what they'll flow at. ;) Regards, Ed. | edgein
22/3/2018 13:34 | Great move into 1p, might need to consilidate the breakout but this is just the start. Buy the dips. | ileeman
22/3/2018 11:22 | once break 1p fully - 5p is my first target here | red nutter
22/3/2018 11:17 | Great post risky spot on. | aventador
22/3/2018 11:10 | Impressive 5 day graph... | htrocka2
22/3/2018 11:07 | Absolutely right. Here we go! I expect the share price to soon be many fold of today's price! Here's why: The build up to drilling ororo2 --> the spud --> First Oil!! Further ororo ... 3,4,5, drilling with some nice surprises. Revelations of further assets already secured The imminent marginal bid round will provide further continuation of our "pipeline of assets"! SIRIOUSLY! What's not to like about the prospects here???? | riskybisky |
